Young Caeda is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Young Caeda's Strengths

Feather Sword is Strong Against Multiple Unit Types

Feather Sword activation did not give Legault a chance! Not a hit landed on Caeda even if Legault was the one that initiated

Caeda's weapon skill Feather Sword is effective against sword, lance, axe, colorless bow and armored units. It also grants +3 Atk to Young Caeda. In addition to that, it also has the effect of Vantage 3 built in, but it only activates for the units mentioned above. This makes Young Caeda a strong counter to sword, lance, axe, colorless bow and armored units in both player and enemy phases.

Can Debuff Foes with Belief in Love

Young Caeda's B skill, Belief in Love, inflicts Atk/Def -5 on foes whenever they initiate combat, or if their HP is 100%. This skill both boosts her damage and reduces the damage dealt by her enemies. This skill increases her viability in both player and enemy phases.

Distant Counter and Overall Skill Synergy

Distant Counter, Feather Sword and all the other skills of Young Caeda makes her a good enemy phase unit. The synergy of her skills even allows her to take out foes such as colorless bows through counterattacks before they can even harm her. Young Caeda would normally be weak to bows as a flying unit, but her tools allow her to be a strong threat against them as well.

Hardy Bearing

The Hardy Bearing Sacred Seal cancels out Feather Sword's built-in Vantage effect. If enemy units have this Sacred Seal, they will be able to bypass Caeda's main line of defense, which is the Vantage effect, and have a chance to take her out.

Weak to Bows

Since Young Caeda is a flying type, she takes 1.5x damage from bow-wielding characters. Be mindful of Young Caeda's positioning in relation to bow-wielding foes.
