How to Unlock The Ethereal's Guide
Unlocked After Visiting to HIA Club
After visiting the HIA Club during Chapter 2: A Call From the Hollow's Heart, talk back to your sibling in Random Play and you'll get new commissions that you need to do to reach Inter-Knot Level 26.
One of them is Blast Away which tells you about a Strange Man outside the store. Go talk to the Strange Man who will reveal himself as Colt and accept the commission on the Inter-Knot.

Talk to the Strange Man Near Random Play
During Chapter 2, you will be visiting HIA Club and after that go back to Random Play and talk to your sibling.
At this point, you will need to reach Inter-Knot Level 26 and your sibling will give you a list of commissions to do so you can level up.
One of them is Blast Away which tells you about a Strange Man outside the store. Go talk to the Strange Man who will reveal himself as Colt and accept the commission on the Inter-Knot.
Complete the Commission Using the HDD
As always, go back to Random Play and access the HDD System to do the commission, The Ethereal's Guide.

Hollow Deep Dive System Events and Guide
Step-By-Step Guide
- Get the Bomb and Go to Next Area
- Collect 15000 Gear Coins

- Submit 15000 Gear Coins
Get the Bomb and Go to Next Area
Get the bomb on the lower left and this will give you the Jackbox Bomb and Tactical Bomb which has a cross-shaped area explosion every 3 steps but does not damage the user.
Destroy the breakable wall on the lower right using the bomb and go to the next area.
Collect 15000 Gear Coins
The next area will have a lot of enemies in the map where you can use your bomb to explode them for Gear Coins. Your goal is to reach 15000 Gear Coins during this section.
Use Overload Charges When Cornered
There may be times where you will be cornered by multiple enemies and be forced to fight. However, you have 4 Overload Charges that you can use to explode your enemies if you are cornered.
If you run out of Overload Charges, you will need to fight the enemy in which you will gain another 4 Overload Charges that you can use.
Use Energy Crystal Conversion
Sometimes, there will be Energy Crystal Conversion monitors appearing in the field. This lets you get bonuses like increased Gear Coin gain, enemies having low chances to take action or converting it to Gear Coins.
Note that getting new bonuses on subsequent conversions will override the previous bonus that you have.

Get Observation Data 1 which is located on the lower left of the second map.
Get Observation Data 2
Get Observation Data 2 which is located on the lower right of the second map.
Get Observation Data 3
Get Observation Data 3 which is located on the upper left of the second map.
Submit 15000 Gear Coins
Go back to the first map and submit 15000 Gear Coins. Go to the exit afterwards and this should finish the commission.
