Start the event by completing the Sojourners' Ghastly Reverie. This will start the Fyxestroll Gathering I quest which basically teaches you how the Ghostly Grove website function in-game works and lead you to start your first investigation assignment!

Guinaifen has set a goal for each popularity phase of the event. Once you reach a certain amount of fans, you get a new goal which will unlock a Trailblaze Continuance sub quest.

After you complete that quest, you open two new Investigation Assignments which will appear in the Ghostly Grove feature. When you complete those two, another phase will start! You also unlock an Exorcismal Chronicle tower in the process as well.

How Does the Ghost Event Work?

1. Start the Sojourners' Ghastly Reverie.
2. Once done, go through a Fyxestroll Gathering Quest, which is basically an intermission quest where you accept a mission that will turn out to be an Investigation Assignment.
3. Complete the assignment, which is also a Trailblaze Continuance subquest, and unlock a suppression tower.
4. Two new assignments will be available in the form of adventure missions.
5. After you catch the heliobi, cast it to the newly unlocked suppression tower. 
6. Reach the required goal for that phase to progress the event!

Listed above is how the event works. After a certain point, you also unlock Ghost-Hunting Squad quests where it's all about the team instead of ghost-hunting!

Experience the Trailblaze Continuance

A Foxian Tale of the Haunted is an event that happens at the same time as A Foxian Tale of the Haunted Trailblaze Continuance Mission Series. As you go through the mission, you unlock certain parts of the content as well!

In the story, the Creation Furnace housing heliobi, or powerful malevolent spirits, burst. You form a team with Guinaifen, Huohuo, and Sushang to collect these Heliobi in gourds and cast them in suppression towers. 

Of course, using Guinaifen's social media prowess to document and find ghost sightings on the website Ghostly Grove is also part of the experience!

Use the Ghostly Grove Feature

After completing the Sojourners' Ghastly Reverie mission, you unlock the Ghostly Grove. Here, you can reply to certain posts, get information on ghost sightings, accept investigation assignments, and post about them to gain popularity!

Ghostly Grove is essentially a website where people post ghost sightings and interact with people. LilGuiGuinevere's popularity over time can also be tracked here.

Accept Investigation Assignments

Inside the Ghostly Grove website feature, the ghost sightings are listed as a post. Once you click on the post and click on the accept button, it will open as a quest. The quest will include various things, like fighting enemies, solving puzzles, or escaping illusory mazes!

Cast the Heliobi and Post About It

After completing a quest, cast the heliobi in the suppression tower and post about it in Ghostly Grove! You can choose three types of posts: the breaking news, the mythopedia, and the hottest scoops. Once you post it, the quest ends.

Gain Popularity in Ghostly Grove

Guinaifen's main goal is to have 1 million subscribers to the account in the Ghostly Grove. The graph can be seen once you click on the fans button on the main screen of the website feature. 

There are five popularity phases, each with a fan or subscriber goal, and three missions. One mission is part of the trailblaze continuance, and two are adventure missions!

At a certain point, you unlock the Ghost-Hunting Squad Missions which is also part of the adventure mission series for the Assignments, Loufu Myths. Squad Missions are more about the Ghost Squad than catching Heliobi.

Challenge the Exorcismic Chronicles

As you progress through the story, you unlock the Exorcismic Chronicles. It is the suppression towers where you cast the heliobi at the end of each assignment, and you can challenge them again with the fiendfire gameplay in those towers. 

There are five towers; you unlock them as you complete the trailblaze continuance investigation assignments. The gameplay works similarly to the Forgotten Hall, except it has that new fiendfire mechanic.

How to Beat Heliobi with Fiendfire

Fiendfire is a mechanic when you're fighting Heliobi. There will be a fire in the action order; if the fire is green, it's on the side of the allies and will charge the exorcismics.

If the fire turns red, it will buff the enemies, and they will deal a significant amount of DMG. To avoid that, you must use a character's ultimate when the enemy is about to take action to steal it instead!

What are Exorcismics

Exorcismics are aids in battle you unlock during the heliobi investigation assignments. There are a total of 8 and can buff your characters or attack your enemies! It can only be charged when you get fiendfire in combat.

Collect Gratuity Points

There are two types of rewards and currecy you must collect during the event.

The limited-time rewards include the free 4-star light cone, ''Hey, Over Here'' and its superimpose material, Exorcismal Fulu. This involves gaining fans or subscribers as you progress the quests. There are also objectives you can complete to get more rewards!

The regular and permanent reward involve getting Gratuity Points which you get from all aspects of the event. Use the gratuity points to level up the subscription plan and get the Starfire Parkland Phone Wallpaper!
