Excess Is as Bad as Deficiency Summary

• Step 1: Discuss with the Ghost-Hunting Squad.
• Step 2: Head to Cloudford and investigate.
• Step 3: Speak with the Suspicious Person.
• Step 4: Head to Aurum Alley and investigate.
• Step 5: Speak with the Suspicious Person again.
• Step 6: Head to Fyxestroll Garden.
• Step 7: Speak with the Cycrane and sign the package.

Discuss with the Ghost-Hunting Squad

During Phase 4 of the event, Guinaifen would like to discuss with you something. Click the Let's Discuss! chat bubble above her head in the main event and screen and begin the investigation. Proceed with the dialogue and reply to the post that will be shown.

After the dialogue with the Ghost-Hunting Squad, head to Cloudford to continue.

Head to Cloudford and Investigate

Once in Cloudford, use the north Teleport Waypoint and head south then down the stairs to reach the objective marker. Approach it and another dialogue with the Ghost-Hunting Squad will start.

After talking, you and the Ghost-Hunting Squad investigate a suspicious person nearby.

Speak with the Suspicious Person

Head back up the stairs to see the Suspicious Person in the corner. Approach her and another dialogue will commence between her and the Ghost-Hunting Squad. During the dialogue, another post will be shown to you, to which you have to reply again.

After replying to the post, you and the Ghost-Hunting squad will head to Aurum Alley next.

Head to Aurum Alley and Investigate

Once in Aurum Alley, use the Cosmos Street Space Anchor and talk to Guinaifen. Proceed with the dialogue then you and Guinaifen will investigate another suspicious person nearby.

Speak with the Suspicious Person Again

Just head northeast and follow the objective marker to see the same person from back in Cloudford. Approach her and another dialogue will commence. She will turn out to be Manman, a fan of Guinaifen. After the dialogue, Manman will disappear.

Talk to Guinaifen to continue and she will ask you to make a post before leaving. Make the post then head back to Fyxestroll Garden.

Head to Fyxestroll Garden

Back in Fyxestroll Garden, you'll see Guinaifen near a box and a Cycrane. Talk to her and she will tell you it's from Manman. Go and talk to the Cycrane to continue your dialogue with Guinaifen.

Speak with the Cycrane and Sign the Package

Approach the Cycrane and talk to it. Proceed with the dialogue and after you will receive A Gift From a Fan. This marks the end of the Excess Is as Bad as Deficiency Investigation Assignment!
