Pure Fiction will release a new Phase every three weeks and each Phase will have a six week duration. Pure Fiction always resets on a Monday at 04:00.
Pure Fiction Grit Mechanics and Phase Duration

| Every time a DoT is received by an enemy target, additionally accumulates 2 Grit Value for allies. | |

When an enemy target enters battle, they are inflicted with 1 stack(s) of "Echo Enigma", which deals a special kind of Wind Shear*, and they suffer 1 stack(s) of "Echo Enigma" after acting, receiving Wind DoT at the start of each turn. Goes up to 10 stack(s) at max for 3 turn(s). |
 Surging Grit |
Entering the "Surging Grit" state causes all enemies to suffer 5 stack(s) of the special Wind Shear "Echo Enigma", and causes all currently suffered DoT to immediately produce DMG equal to 100% of the original DMG. During the "Surging Grit" period, increases enemy targets' DMG received by 50%, reduces DMG dealt by 35%, and increases SPD by 50% |

How to Unlock Pure Fiction
Play Through Youci's Clever Decor
You can unlock Pure Fiction by playing through the Youci's Clever Decor Mission. You will unlock Stage 1 after talking to Youci.

How to Play Pure Fiction
Talk to Youci in the Exalting Sanctum
To access Pure Fiction, go to the floating Bird Cage by the name of Youci in the Exalting Sanctum.
Choose Cacophony Buffs for Your Team
Form up two teams and select Cacophony buffs to enhance your characters. Each Pure Fiction phase will have multiple buffs to choose from.
Defeat as Much Enemies as Possible
Pure Fiction plays similarly to the Legends Past and Present as your goal is to defeat as many enemies as possible and deal DMG to earn points.
These enemies will continuously respawn and you only have a limited number of cycles to earn the aforementioned points.

Version 2.7 Updates
New Grit Mechanic
Complete certain objectives to accumulate Grit Value. Once you have full Grit, characters will enter Surging Grit which grants them powerful buffs to defeat enemies faster.
Defeat Mobs to Damage the Boss
Starting from Version 2.7, mob enemies will continuously refresh when defeated. These mobs can now also deal damage to the boss enemy upon defeat and will provide you Grit Value.
Defeating the boss enemy will let you advance to the next wave.

Lynx joins the roster of free 4-star characters as a reward for completing Stage 2 of Pure Fiction.

In total, you can get up to 800 Stellar Jades by geting a full 12 star clear in Pure Fiction. A new Pure Fiction event will appear every 6 weeks, after the previous one ends.
Along with 800 Stellar Jades, you can get 600 Jade Feathers per star. They can be used to purchase items such as Self Modeling Resins and Relic Remains in the Jokes Come True tab of the Priceless Jewels shop in Pure Fiction.
