Words of Yore Rerun Banner Analysis

Words of Yore offers the 5-star Nihility character Acheron. She is a powerful DPS that can annihilate enemies with her Ultimate that ignores weakness type and does not require energy to use.

If you are looking for a very strong Hypercarry that can also perform well against enemies that aren't weak to lightning, then Acheron is a must-pull!

Gilded Imprisonment Rerun Banner Analysis

Aventurine is a 5-star Preservation DPS-Sustain Hybrid character featured in the Gilded Imprisonment banner. Aventurine can provide strong shields to the party and deal a decent amount of DMG to enemies.

Both his shields and DMG output can increase depending on the amount of DEF stats he has. If you have a Follow-up attack team or need another sustain unit that can also deal DMG, Aventurine is worth pulling for.

Featured 4-Star Characters Analysis

Pela, Sampo, and March 7th are featured 4-stars for the character banners in Phase 2 of Version 2.6. March 7th is a free character that can be obtained during the Eye of the Storm mission.

Pela is one of the best 4-star units due to her SP-Positive Playstyle and her ability to debufff all enemies' DEF. If you have DoT team that have Black Swan or Kafka then Sampo is a good addition if you need a Wind DoT character that can increase the DoT damage taken by enemies.

As such, It's recommended to pull for this banner for the 4-star lineup especially if you don't have Pela nor Sampo yet.

Along the Passing Shore Banner Analysis

Along the Passing Shore is a good choice if you want your DPS to inflict the Mirage Fizzle debuff on an enemy, which lets them increase their DMG and Ultimate DMG to targets afflicted with it.

This is amazing for Acheron since it allows her to trigger it during her Ultimate because it hits multiple times, meaning, her Ultimate fully benefits from the DMG increases of the debuff. The Light Cone also increases CRIT DMG that can help with balancing CRIT Rate to CRIT DMG.

However, Most DPS Nihility characters currently relies on DoTs to deal their damage and the only thing they can benefit from this Light Cone is the DMG increase debuff. It's only recommended to pull for this Light Cone if you have Acheron since only her can fully utilize it with her kit.

Inherently Unjust Destiny Banner Analysis

Inherently Unjust Destiny gives everything Aventurine needs to maximize his effectiveness in battle. This Light Cone provides Aventurine an increase in his DEF, DMG buff to his follow-up attack, and a CRIT DMG buff to him whenever he uses his Skill.

With this in mind, no other character can fully utilize the Light Cone's ability, so It's only recommended to pull from this banner specifically if you have Aventurine.

Inherently Unjust Destiny Best Characters

Featured 4-Star Light Cones Analysis

Make the World Clamor, Day One of My New Life and Boundless Choreo are the featured 4-Stars in the Light Cone banners for Version 2.6 Phase 2.

You can pull for Boundless Choreo if you want to provide additional crit stats for Acheron. Day One of My New Life is a great Light Cone for all Preservation characters so It's also a good choice to pull for.

Make the World Clamor isn't the best as there are much better choices you can get for free from the Forgotten Hall's Light Cone Manifest Store.

Overall, only pull from for this 4-star lineup if you're lacking Light Cones for your preservation unit or if you don't have Acheron's Light Cone and want more additional crit stats for her.

Banner Pity Mechanics

Hard Pity for Characters and Light Cones

Honkai: Star Rail follows the exact same pity rules as Genshin Impact. Characters are guaranteed to appear after 90 pulls while Light Cones only need 80 pulls.

After 300 rolls in the Stellar Warp Banner, players are eligible for a 5-star Selector. This is only available once per account so choose wisely!

Event Banner Pity Carries Over

Like in Genshin Impact, pity in Character and Light Cone Event Banners carries over so your pulls are not exactly wasted.

Example of Pity Carrying Over
Spent 89 pulls for Seele in her banner's last day without getting a 5-Star. Seele's Banner is replaced by Jing Yuan's. Next pull at the 90th is a guaranteed 5-Star with a 50% chance to be Jing Yuan.
