Should You Pull For Cyrene?
Cyrene is a Remembrance Support unit that provides DMG buffs, and buffs that enhance the gameplay of a Chrysos Heir unit. She provides True DMG buffs with her Skill and can activate other Ultimates with her own.
Cyrene worth pulling for if you have invested on a team that consists of Chrysos Heir characters from Amphoreus. Cyrene provides little to no contributions to teams that don't use them.
Should You Pull For Phainon?
Phainon is a top-tier Destruction DPS with a lot of survivability and damage when he enters his Enhanced State.
Phainon is one of the most powerful DPS units in the game and is worth pulling regardless of investment. Phainon becomes more powerful if you have other units like Sunday, Cerydra, Huohuo, or Permansor Terrae!
Should You Pull For Cipher?
Cipher is a strong and fast Nihility Sub-DPS who can debuff enemies and attack them with Follow-up attacks. She can gain Tally stacks which can increase the damage of her Ultimate.
Cipher is best used with units that want debuffs such as Acheron and Feixiao. Her SP-friendly playstyle can also synergize well with units like Archer. If you have any of these characters, Cipher is worth pulling for.
Should You Pull For Mydei?
Mydei is a strong Destruction DPS that consumes his own HP to deal high amounts of Skill DMG. Mydei's Skill gets stronger the more Charge stacks Mydei has.
Mydei is best used if you have units like Cyrene, Tribbie, Cerydra, or Hyacine.
Should You Pull for Saber?
Saber is a strong Destruction DPS who can deal high amounts of Skill and Ultimate DMG. While technical to use, Saber can be super effective in all Endgame content if used optimally.
Pull for Saber if you really like her have units that provide turn advance like Sunday or Bronya, or units that restore energy like Huohuo. If you already have a strong Wind DPS, you can consider skipping Saber.
Do note that once Saber's Banner has ended, Saber will be gone forever.
Should You Pull for Archer?
Archer is a free Hunt DPS that specializes in single-target Skill DMG. The real question is whether or not his Eidolons are worth investing on.
Archer's Eidolons will provide quality of life upgrades for his Skill usage at E1 and damage upgrades from E2 onwards. This is great to pull for if you don't plan on pulling Sparkle for Archer.
At E0, Archer is already a strong DPS, but he requires the best Supports for his teams or Eidolons as a solo unit.

Should I Pull for This Love, Forever?
This Love, Forever is Cyrene's Light Cone that provides a SPD Boost to the wearer, a Vulnerability debuff for her enemies, and a teamwide CRIT DMG increase.
While its nice to have, you can use Memory's Curtain Never Falls as a more accessible option for Cyrene's SPD requirement.

Should I Pull for Thus Burns the Dawn?
Phainon's signature Light Cone, Thus Burns the Dawn, increases the wearer's Base SPD and increases the damage dealt by using the Ultimate until the wearer's next turn.
While this works on Follow-up Attack units like Clara and Yunli, this works best when equipped by Phainon. If you're saving up for another character, Phainon can use the more accessible On the Fall of an Aeon.

Should I Pull for Lies Dance on the Breeze?
Lies Dance on the Breeze is Cipher's signature Light Cone, and one of the best Nihility Light Cones thanks to its SPD increase and DEF shred.
This is Cipher's best Light Cone as a Sub-DPS, and can work with other Nihility units such as Jiaoqiu, Kafka, and Silver Wolf. If you want your Sub-DPS to provide DEF shred, Lies Dance on the Breeze is worth pulling for!

Should I Pull for Flame of Blood, Blaze My Path?
Flame of Blood, Blaze My Path, Mydei's Light Cone, increases the wearers Max HP and increases the DMG dealt to enemies after HP consumption.
If you have HP-scaling units like Mydei, Blade, or Jingliu, this Light Cone is worth pulling for. If you want to save Stellar Jades, you can opt to go with the free Ninja Record - Sound Hunt!

Should You Pull for A Thankless Coronation?
A Thankless Coronation is amazing for Saber since it provides her DMG, gives her bonus ATK, and her much needed Energy Regen.
While this is Saber's best-in-slot, other Light Cones such as Thus Burns the Dawn or On the Fall of an Aeon should suffice if you're saving up for other characters.

Should You Pull for The Hell Where Ideals Burn?
The Hell Where Ideals Burn is Archer's best Light Cone since it provides a permanent CRIT Rate buff and boosts his ATK through Skill Usage. This Light Cone can be easily attained if you plan on pulling in the Version 3.4 banners.
If you plan on saving your Stellar Jades, you can skip this Light Cone since other 5-star Light Cones are usable on Archer. If you want to invest on Archer, we recommend getting his Light Cone!

Honkai: Star Rail follows the exact same pity rules as Genshin Impact. Characters are guaranteed to appear after 90 pulls while Light Cones only need 80 pulls.

Like in Genshin Impact, pity in Character and Light Cone Event Banners carries over so your pulls are not exactly wasted.

Anonymous over 2 years"Take note that if you get a 5-star earlier than 50 pulls, you will not get another 5-star on your 50th pull. " That's not necessarily true. Let it be known, you can get an extra 5 star after you get your guaranteed one.
