Fu Xuan is an excellent defensive support who can minimize the DMG taken by other party members and transfer it to herself. Despite the fact that Fu Xuan cannot provide shields, she can still easily keep the team alive.
Get Fu Xuan if you need a defensive support unit with some CRIT buffs in your collection.

This build allows Fu Xuan to be as tanky as possible with a lot of HP stats with some DMG Reduction. Fu Xuan would need an Energy Regeneration Rope to be able to use her Ultimate frequently and gain stacks to use for her Talent.
Getting DEF% sub-stats is good since it reduces the DMG Fu Xuan takes, both directly and indirectly from damage redirected to her. Fu Xuan will also want some Effect RES in her sub-stats to not only resist debuffs but also trigger the passive for the Broken Keel ornament if you're using it.

Fu Xuan's optimal attack rotation is to use two Basic ATKs after using her Skill. This is so Fu Xuan can attack and then smoothly refresh The Matrix of Prescience when it's about to end.
If you lost track on when to use Fu Xuan's Basic ATK or Skill, check the ground to see whether or not the purple star is fading. Use Fu Xuan's Skill when the star is fading as that tells us that the Matrix of Prescience is about to end.
Fu Xuan's Skill bestows The Matrix of Prescience to all allies for three turns. The Matrix of Prescience allows a portion of the DMG taken by allies to be transferred to Fu Xuan. The DMG taken by Fu Xuan can be reduced from DMG Reduction and DEF stats.
While the Matrix of Prescience is active, characters will also have their Max HP and CRIT Rate increased! After unlocking Fu Xuan's third Bonus Ability, activating a Matrix of Prescience can negate the first Crowd Control debuff while active.
Fu Xuan's Talent will reduce the DMG taken by everyone in combat as long as she's still active. In addition, if Fu Xuan's HP falls below 50%, she'll consume a Trigger Count to restore her own health based on the amount of missing HP she has.
You can get more Trigger Counts for Fu Xuan's self-healing by using her Ultimate. Fu Xuan can only hold up to two Trigger Counts in battle.
Fu Xuan's Ultimate deals Quantum DMG to all enemies and increases the Trigger Count of the self-healing effect from her Talent.
Unlocking her second Bonus Ability allows Fu Xuan to heal other allies with her Ultimate.
Fu Xuan's Technique creates a barrier, preventing enemies from attacking you in the overworld. The barrier will last for 20 seconds and will be active even if you switch party members.
When you enter combat while the barrier is active, it activates the Matrix of Prescience for two turns.

Fu Xuan being a damage mitigation unit. But there is a downside, she dies pretty much easily if taking too much big damage covers, dot etc. and ran out of 2 shots of hp recovery. She better have built with tanky relics etc if 1 sustainer alone. or put 1 healer or 1 shielder a must.
