Is Acheron Worth Pulling?

Acheron is a remarkably powerful DPS that can annihilate enemies with her powerful Ultimate that can ignore weakness type and does not have an energy cost.

If you are looking for a very strong Hypercarry that can also perform well against enemies not weak to lightning, then Acheron is a must-pull!

Acheron's Best Builds

Nihility DPS Build

Despite being a Nihility unit, Acheron works as your typical DPS who takes advantage of CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG stats.

Speed boots are great for Acheron since they increase her action count, which helps to increase Slashed Dream stacks. It's also good if you're trying to hit speed breakpoints for Ornaments that require it. However, you can also use ATK% boots for Acheron if she's paired with Sparkle or Bronya.

As for her Sphere, you can choose between Lightning DMG and ATK%, depending on which has better sub-stats. ATK% is slightly better since Acheron already has a ton of DMG buffs from her Traces and Signature Light Cone.

In this free-to-play team, Asta and the Fire Trailblazer can debuff the enemy through Burn and Taunt respectively. The Fire Trailblazer can equip the Trend of the Universal Market to apply Burn on enemies.

Since Acheron's kit becomes stronger when Nihility units are in the party, we recommend replacing your Supports as soon as you get debuffers.

Acheron's best team at Eidolon 0 and 1 consists of two other Nihility units to max out the DMG buff from her Bonus Ability.

Silver Wolf and Pela can debuff the enemies on their turn to add stacks for Acheron's Slashed Dream. Pela can equip the Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat to have more chances of applying debuffs on an enemy.

Aventurine can provide shields to the party and implant a debuff on the enemy with his Ultimate. Preservation units paired with Acheron should ideally equip Trend of the Universal Market to apply a fire DoT on enemies when attacked.

Should I Get Acheron's Light Cone?

Acheron's Along the Passing Shore Light Cone is significantly stronger compared to the other Nihility Light Cones. This allows Acheron to deal a lot of DMG and increase her Slashed Dream count by two when she uses her Skill.

While getting Acheron's Light Cone is ideal, there are other viable options such as Good Night and Sleep Well or any Light Cone that provides a DMG buff.

Acheron's Gameplay Guide

Skill Gains Slashed Dream and Deals AoE DMG

When Acheron uses her Skill on an enemy, she will gain a stack of Slashed Dream and apply a Crimson Knot stack on the main target.

Acheron will also deal Lightning DMG to enemies adjacent to the enemy target.

Talent Lets Acheron Unleash Her Ultimate Faster

Aside from using her Skill, Acheron can also gain Slashed Dream stacks by having other allies inflict debuffs on an enemy. Enemies that apply debuffs on themselves or other enemies can also increase the Slashed Dream count.

When Acheron gains 9 Slashed Dream stacks, she can unleash her Ultimate.

Crimson Knot Application

Enemies will also receive a Crimson Knot stack when they receive a debuff. If multiple enemies are inflicted with a debuff at the same time, Crimson Knot will only be inflicted on the enemy with the most Crimson Knot stacks.

If an enemy leaves the battle or is taken out, their Crimson Knot stacks will be transferred to the enemy with the most Crimson Knot stacks.

Acheron's Ultimate Ignores Enemy Weaknesses

Acheron's Ultimate can reduce an enemy's Toughness regardless of their Weakness Type and reduce their All-Type RES.

Once Acheron's Ultimate is unleashed, you can manually select the target for the first three attacks. On the fourth attack, Acheron will deal DMG to all enemies.

Enemies with Crimson Knot Take Increased DMG

Enemies with Crimson Knot stacks will receive more DMG from Acheron's Ultimate. Every time Acheron hits an enemy with her Ultimate, three Crimson Knot stacks will be removed.

Instant Kill Enemies with Technique

Acheron's Technique can instantly kill an enemy in the overworld. A Technique point will not be consumed if Acheron's Technique does not hit the enemy.

Enemies such as Trotters, Elite enemies, or Bosses cannot be instantly killed and will instead receive Lightning DMG after entering combat. Acheron will also gain a Slashed Dream stack and apply Crimson Knot to a random enemy.
