Yao Guang in Phase 1 of Version 4.0

Star Rail - Yao Guang Preview

During the 4.0 Livestream, Yao Guang was announced as a playable character who will be released in the first half of Version 4.0. Yao Guang is a 5-star character that follows a new Path, the Path of Elation, and uses the Physical element.

Yao Guang will release on February 12, 2026 (UTC-5), which is also the launch of Version 4.0, and her banner will run until March 24, 2026.

Sparxie in Phase 2 of Version 4.0

Star Rail - Sparxie Preview

During the 4.0 Livestream, Sparxie was announced as a playable character who will be released in the second half of Version 4.0. Sparxie is a 5-star character that also follows the new Path, the Path of Elation, and uses the Fire element.

Sparxie will release on March 03, 2026 and her banner will run until March 24, 2026 (Server Time).

Ashveil in Phase 1 of Version 4.1

Star Rail - Ashveil Drip

Ashveil is a new 5-star Lightning character that follows the Path of The Hunt, and will likely be released in Phase 1 of Version 4.1.

Version 4.1 will run for 4 weeks, and Ashveil's banner is expected to run for the entire duration, which is expected to be from March 25, 2025 until April 22, 2026 (UTC-5).
