Completing Missions

Trailblaze Missions

Honkai Star Rail - Trailblazer Missions

Trailblaze Missions are the main story quests in Honkai: Star Rail and are the primary method of leveling up your Trailblaze Level as it always guarantees you with Trailblaze EXP upon completion.

Additionally, these missions are automatically unlocked and given to you at the start of the story, and you'll continously receive them throughout the course of the game.

Accomplishing these will not only reward you with Trailblaze EXP, but will also further progress you through the main storyline of the game, which also unlocks some other great ways of farming EXP such as Daily Missions, Simulated Universe, etc.

Adventure Missions

Honkai Star Rail - Adventure Missions

Adventure missions are the side quests that you can accept from different NPCs / Characters in the game. These reward you with Trailblaze EXP upon completion but at a lesser amount compared to the main Trailblaze Missions.

Keep an eye out for characters with Adventure Mission icons on their heads, or you can check your map to see the locations of where you can accept these missions.

Complete Daily Training Tasks

Honkai Star Rail - Daily Missions

Daily training tasks are a profitable way to gain Trailblaze EXP. These tasks range from Enchancing Light Cones to performing combat manuevers such as using Techniques or attacking an enemy with its Weakness for a certain number of times in battle.

These are also updated daily so be sure to check back each day for any new missions posted!

Accomplish Operation Briefings

Honkai Star Rail - Operation Briefings

You can get 100 Trailblaze EXP each time you finish an Operation Briefing task. These are short and easy-to-do assignments and should net you some quick EXP.

Spending Trailblaze Power

Honkai Star Rail - Trailblaze Power is used for claiming rewards

Spending your Trailblaze Power at the Crimson and Golden Calyxes will offer Trailblaze EXP in return. These are battles that you can repeatedly do, so as long as you still have sufficient Trailblaze power with you.

Expect to consume about approximately 10-60 Trailblaze Power each run.

Simulated Universe is a combat trial where you'll come across different battle scenarios that you can participate in to receive Trailblaze EXP at the end of each trial.

Each time you increase your Trailblaze Level by one, you can visit Pom-Pom in the Parlor Car to redeem various rewards.

Trailblazing Will Event Rewards

Once you reach Trailblaze Level 5, you can start redeeming rewards from the Trailblazing Will every 10 Levels. These rewards are commonly Star Rail Passes and at the latter levels, Stellar Jades.

Trailblazing Will Level Up Event

Character Ascension Unlocks

By leveling your Trailblaze Level, each of your character's level cap also increases, thus increasing the cost of ascension materials needed to level up, as well as the types of materials required.
