Healing is necessary to keep your party alive in Honkai: Star Rail. See how you can heal your characters, what the different ways of recovery are, how to use them, and the game's healers!
List of Contents
Healing is a means of restoring HP to either your active character or your allies. In Honkai: Star Rail and other turn-based RPGs, healing is essential since it is what makes your party survive.
Although there are other means of getting by such as shields and damage reduction, healing is still one of the best ways to ensure your party's survivability.
While exploring the world of Honkai: Star Rail, you will eventually come across Space Anchors. Space Anchors serve as teleport waypoints around the map and also as a station to heal your characters.
These anchors are scattered all around the maps in the game and can be unlocked by making your way to them and unlocking them. Warring Expeditions also have Space Anchors and they are mainly used to heal as well.
Space Anchors have a resource called Anchor Energy. This is what the anchor uses to heal your characters when they have lost HP. This recharges overtime once used so you do not have to worry about it running out.
You can also select which characters would be receiving healing or not, as well as a handy Recover All
button to make your life easier.
As with any game, there are often designated healers or characters that can restore HP to their allies. In Honkai: Star Rail, these characters are called Abundance Characters.
Around the map, you will usually find destructible objects. They usually give materials and some credits, while others restore Technique points. Some objects can heal your entire party when broken, so be sure to try and take advantage of this when necessary.
Consumables in Honkai: Star Rail has a variety of uses, such as giving important buffs and reviving characters. There are a lot of Consumables that can restore a character's HP and they are a big help whenever you are far away from a Space Anchor.
As mentioned earlier, characters that mostly do the healing or restore HP to their allies are characters that follow the Path of Abundance. These characters are equipped with healing skills or Ultimates that can easily change the tide of battle.
While some are more effective than others in healing, they all perform and succeed in their role.
List of All Abundance Characters
Character | Explanation |
---|---|
Fu Xuan | Fu Xuan's Bonus Ability provide minor heals to all of her allies after using her Ultimate. This scales with a percentage of her Max HP. |
Blade | Blade heals himself to 50% of his Max HP if he uses his Ultimate while his HP is below the 50% threshold. |
Arlan | Arlan's Bonus Ability heals 20% of his Max HP every time he defeats an enemy while under 30% HP or lower. |
Despite Abundance characters having most of the healing, other characters like Fu Xuan and Blade have healing built in their kit even if they're Preservation and Destruction characters respectively.
The healing provided by characters from other Paths often is minimal and can't compare to the healing Abundance Characters provide, or are for themselves only.

The Simulated Universe is a different story when it comes to healing. There are areas called Respite Rooms
where you can heal by using destructible objects.
There are also other specific ways that you can heal your party while in the Simulated Universe, so make sure to use these methods when your party's HP is low.
Blessings in the Simulated Universe provide buffs depending on the Path you choose. They have a multitude of uses and one of those uses is healing! The Path of Abundance has a lot of healing Blessings, so be sure to take them if you think your party lacks healing.
List of All Paths in Simulated Universe
Curios are objects that provide buffs in the Simulated Universe. You will receive them from time to time while in the Simulated Universe and they act almost the same as Blessings.
Some Curios are able to heal and restore HP to your party, so they can come in clutch whenever your party is in a pinch.
List of All Curios in Simulated Universe
When a character's HP reaches zero, you will be unable to heal them or use them in exploring maps or combat. Healing is one way to prevent characters from dying! If it comes down to it, however, there are multiple ways to revive your characters.
