Fire Follow-Up DPS Build

This Topaz Build is designed to dish out a lot of Fire DMG through Follow-up Attacks. Inert Salsotto will be her best Planar Ornament as most of her attacks are considered to be Follow-Up attacks. This does require at least 50% CRIT Rate to activate its effect.

As for her Relics, a mix of Musketeer of Wild Wheat and Firesmith of Lava-Forging will be her best combo as Topaz's DMG scales on the ATK stat.

In this team comp, Topaz will act as a Sub-DPS that can use her Skill to increase the enemy's DMG from Follow-up Attacks. Dr. Ratio is the best DPS to be paired up with Topaz as most of his DMG consists of Follow-up Attacks.

If you have Aventurine, you can use Ruan Mei as your second Support unit since both characters can provide debuffs for Dr. Ratio's Follow-up attacks. Otherwise, use Silver Wolf to implant a lot of debuffs on the enemy.

Space Sealing Station	★★★☆☆ - 3rd Best Space Sealing Station is a good alternative Ornament as it can increase Topaz's ATK. Topaz should have at least 120 SPD for the Ornament to take effect.

Follow-Up Attack DPS

Topaz is a single-target Fire DPS that uses Numby to dish out a huge amount of follow-up attack DMG. Do note that Numby acts as a separate unit in the turn order during a battle.

Most of Topaz's abilities count as Follow-Up attacks, so buffs that increase Follow-Up Attack DMG will be applied to most of her kit.

Inflicts Proof of Debt Debuff

Proof of Debt is a debuff that increases follow-up attack DMG to enemies. It can be applied by using Topaz's Skill on an enemy. In addition, a random enemy will also acquire Proof of Debt if no one on the battlefield is inflicted with it!

Do note that only one enemy on the battlefield can be inflicted with Proof of Debt!

Summons Numby

Trotter Market!? is Topaz's Talent and it allows her to summon Numby during battle. Numby has its own SPD stat and also acts independently. Any enemy inflicted with Proof of Debt will be attacked by Numby.

Excluding Numby's turn, every time an ally's follow-up attack hits an enemy with Proof of Debt, Numby's action is Advanced Forward by 50%!

Skill Reassigns Proof of Debt

Topaz's Skill, Difficulty Paying?, reallocates Proof of Debt to a different target, allowing Numby to immediately attack the enemy and deal a certain percentage of Topaz's ATK as Fire DMG. Topaz's Skill counts as a follow-up attack!

Ultimate Increases CRIT DMG

After using Topaz's Ultimate, Turn a Profit!, Numby enters the Windfall Bonanza! state. During this state, Numby will have increased DMG multipliers and increased CRIT DMG.

When enemies marked with Proof of Debt are attacked by Basic ATKs, Skills, or Ultimates, Numby will advance forward in the turn order. The Windfall Bonanza! state will end after Numby launches two attacks.

Search for Treasure with Technique

Topaz's Technique will summon Numby to the overworld without consuming Technique Points and it will automatically search for nearby basic treasures and Trotters. Trotters won't be alerted when you approach them. When you use a Technique point, Topaz will regenerate energy after Numby's first attack in combat.

After defeating enemies when Topaz's Technique is active before combat, you can gain additional Credits if enemy drops include them. In the Simulated Universe, you will gain additional Cosmic Fragments and a chance to get a Curio!

Technique	Explicit Subsidy: Summons Numby when Topaz enters the overworld. Numby will automatically search for Basic Treasures and Trotters within a set radius. Using the Technique causes Topaz to regenerate 60 Energy after Numby's first attack in the next battle. If Topaz is still in the team after using her Technique and defeating overworld enemies, a small bonus amount of credits will be added to the earned credits. A maximum of 10,000 bonus credits can be received per calendar day. After using the Technique and defeating an enemy in battle within the Simulated Universe, a small amount of additional Cosmic Fragments will be rewarded with a small chance to obtain 1 random Curio.
Skill	Difficulty Paying?: Inflicts a single target enemy with a Proof of Debt status, increasing the DMG it takes from follow-up attacks by 25%. Proof of Debt only takes effect on the most recent target it is applied to. If there are no enemies inflicted with Proof of Debt on the field when an ally's turn starts or when an ally takes action, Topaz will inflict a random enemy with Proof of Debt. Numby deals Fire DMG equal to 75% of Topaz's ATK to this target. Using this Skill to deal DMG is considered as launching a follow-up attack. Stat Bonus: 1. Fire DMG +4.8%
Ultimate	Turn a Profit!: Numby enters the Windfall Bonanza! state and its DMG multiplier increases by 75% and CRIT DMG increases by 12%. Also, when enemies with Proof of Debt are hit by an ally's Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, Numby's action is Advanced Forward by 50%. Numby exits the Windfall Bonanza! state after having using 2 attacks.
Talent	Trotter Market!?: Summons Numby at the start of battle. Numby has 80 SPD by default. When taking action, Numby launches follow-up attacks on a single enemy target afflcited with Proof of Debt, dealing Fire DMG equal to 75% of Topaz's ATK. When enemies afflicted with Proof of Debt receive an ally's follow-up attacks, Numby's action is Advanced Forward by 50%. The action Advance Forward effect cannot be triggered during Numby's own turn. When Topaz is downed, Numby disappears.

Background

Topaz is the Leader of the Special Debts Picket Team and high-level manager of the Strategic Investment Department under the Interastral Peace Corporation. A member of the "Ten Stonehearts" at a young age, Topaz's foundational expertise is "debt retrieval." Her partner, the Warp Trotter "Numby," is also capable of keenly perceiving where "riches" are located, ensuring that jobs based on security, debt collection, and actuarial varieties are of no great challenge. At presently they are traveling the cosmos together, seeking all manner of liability disputes that might be affecting the stable progression of the IPC's businesses.
