Foxian Dream is the fifth and last quest within the Trailblaze Continuance, A Foxian Tale of the Haunted. The quest revolves around Huohuo, a trainee Ten-Lords Commission Judge.

Foxian Dream also doubles as an event quest for A Foxian Tale of the Haunted. The Trailblaze Continuance occurs simultaneously with the event, so quest progress unlocks more event content!

Unlocks the Foxsomn Tomb Tower

Clearing Foxian Dream unlocks the Foxsomn Tomb, which is the fourth Suppression Tower. After finishing Foxsomn Tomb and the other Suppression Towers, you will be able to unlock Verdant Terrace, another combat mode during the event.

Get Information Out of Cirrus

At the start of Foxian Dream, you need to get some information out of Cirrus regarding Huohuo's location. You can find them near the Verdant Terrace Entrance teleporter in the Fyxestroll Garden.

During the conversation with Cirrus, they will tell you that Huohuo went to Cloudford.

Head to Cloudford

After teleporting to Cloudford using the Trove of Verdure teleporter, go to the marked location shown in-game. You will find Huohuo lying down on the floor and a cutscene will trigger.

Enter the Illusory Maze: Immola

To progress the quest, you need to start an Exploratory Excursion tasked by Tail. We recommend using Lightning, Physical, and Imaginary characters since most enemies are weak to those!

The strongest enemy you will encounter in the Exploratory Excursion is the Aurumaton Spectral Envoy. So make sure to bring a DPS character which can inflict Weakness Break against it.

Search Traces of Tail

As soon as the Exploratory Excursion begins, you will be controlling Huohuo. To progress, simply go to the marked locations shown in-game. During this part of the quest, several cutscenes that involve Huohuo's memories will play out. Eventually, you will find Tail.

Find Huohuo's Mother

After locating Tail, you will now be controlling them. As Tail, you need to find Huohuo's mother. Go through the marked door and then pass through it.

After phasing through the other side of the door, immediately go to the left room and then go up the stairs in order to find Huohuo's mother.

Possess Huohuo's Mother

Tails will possess Huohuo's Mother after finding her. Go to the marked location to bring Huohuo's mother back to her. Interact with the Door Lock to open the door which Tails passed through previously.

Find Huohuo's Classmate

After exiting the room where Huohuo is located, go straight down the hallway and then turn left. In the room, you will find one of Huohuo's classmates. Possess the Foxian boy and then exit the room by first opening the door using the Door Lock.

Locate the Other Classmate

Before returning to Huohuo, proceed to the room located to the right of the stairway from where Huohuo is located. Inside the room, you'll see another classmate of Huohuo. Possess the Foxian girl and then go back to Huohuo's location marked in-game.

Fight Immola

After returning to Huohuo, you will then fight Immola. The battle includes an Aurumaton Spectral Envoy and a Golden Hound. Do note that the fight involves the Exorcismics and Fiendfire mechanics.

Return to Cirrus

After the defeating Immola, return to Cirrus who can be found at their usual spot in Fyxestroll Garden. Get close to Curris for a cutscene to trigger.

Defeat Cirrus

After the cutscene with Cirrus, a fight against them will begin. Unlike the boss fight during Sojourners' Ghastly Reverie, you can now use the Exorcismics and Fiendfire mechanics. Defeat Cirrus in order to progress the quest.

Go to the Suppression Tower

After defeating Cirrus, talk to Hanya who is also located in the Fyxestroll Garden. Follow the marked location in-game to find her. Finally, proceed to the marked suppression tower to cast the heliobus into it.

The quest concludes after the cutscene with the Ghost-Hunting Squad. Do note that your fans will increase and new Investigation Assignments will be available after!

How to Beat Cirrus

Best Teams Against Cirrus

For the free-to-play team, The Trailblazer will be your main DPS option since most of the enemies during the boss fight are weak to Physical. Yukong can increase the party's ATK and CRIT stats. March 7th will provide shields to the Trailblazer while Natasha heals everyone.

For the premium team, Kafka and Sampo will be your DPS since they can deal high amounts of DoT. Tingyun is in charge of recharging Kafka's Ultimate and buffing her. Huohuo's role is to cleanse the debuff inflicted by enemies and also recharge allies' Ultimate!

These are all the enemies during the boss fight against Cirrus. Do note that their health bar will not fully go down during the first half of the boss fight. You can only defeat them during the second half, which is after the cutscene where Jing Yuan appears.

The second half of the boss fight is basically a repeat of the first half. In other words, you will be fighting the same enemies again!

Cirrus Boss Fight Strategy

Use Ultimates to Claim Fiendfire

You can bump up the Fiendfire on the Action order by using any of your character's Ultimates. The best time to use Ultimates is after Cirrus uses the ability called Rapid Gambit and the topmost enemy, whose turn got Advanced Forward, has Fiendfire.

By using an Ultimate after Cirrus uses Rapid Gambit, you can snatch the Fiendfire and stop the enemy from getting enhanced!

Use Exorcismics Ability Effectively

Similar to the Engine of Creation during the boss fight against Cocolia, an extra ability called Exorcismics can be used when battling Cirrus. This ability gets charged whenever the green Fiendfire reaches the top of the Action Order.

Once Exorcismics is fully charged, we also recommend using it after Cirrus uses Rapid Gambit so that all the enemies on the battlefield will be Imprisoned.

Astral Express Visitor Unlock: Huohuo

Completing the mission will allow Huohuo to become a visitor aboard the Astral Express. Now, whenever you go back to the Astral Express, there will be a chance to run into Huohuo and interact with her.
