Relics serve as equipment for characters and provide passive bonuses depending on the relic type and the number equipped.
Relic sets are separated into 2 categories: Main (Cavern) Relics, and Planar Ornaments. Both types of Relics can offer various set effects, but some have unique main stats that will not appear on other relics.
Cavern Relics are relics that can be put in the slot of the Head, Hands, Body, and Feet. These relics have a 2-Piece and a 4-Piece effect in one set! You can farm Cavern Relics in the Caverns of Corrosion.
Planar Ornaments are essentially Accessories placed in the Planar Sphere and Link Rope slots. These relics only have 2-Piece effects per set, with Planar Spheres being the source of Element Damage Boosts' main stats.
You can farm Planar Ornaments in the Simulated Universe!
You can enhance Relics by consuming other lower-tier relics or using Lost Lightdusts, Lost Gold Fragments, and Lost Crystals you can get from the Forgotten Hall or from Levelling up Relics!
You can also get the Relic Upgrade Items by using the Salvage function of your inventory.
Relic Tier | Enhance Limit |
---|---|
2-Star Relics | Max Level +6 |
3-Star Relics | Max Level +9 |
4-Star Relics | Max Level +12 |
5-Star Relics | Max Level +15 |
There's a limit to how much you can enhance a relic with their tier! Once you hit that max enhancement limit, you cannot enhance that relic again.
Toggle on the Enhancement Cap to avoid obtaining subpar sub-stats for your relics. This option automatically levels your relic to each Node Level, allowing you to see which sub-stats you get or what existing sub-stat gets enhanced.
Relic Sets are a set of equipment that increases the stat of your character when equipped. There are two types of Stats, Main Stats, which are the main stat buff that your character gets from a Relic, and Sub Stat, which are stats obtained randomly through leveling and acquisition.
Main Stats are the main buff that your character gets from a Relic. When you level up the relics, these stats will only increase! However, how much you can level up an artifact is dependent on their tier.

Relic Sub Stats are additional stat boosts in a single artifact. You can get one to four sub-stats depending on the tier of the relic! Relic Sub Stats vary from each artifact, and when you level it up, a random sub-stat will appear or get boosted.

• HP (Flat) / HP% • ATK (Flat) / ATK% • DEF (Flat) / DEF% • Speed (Flat) • Break Effect% |

How to Get Relics |
---|
|
The main source of Cavern Relics is from the Caverns of Corrosion that you unlock once you reach the later parts of the Jarilo-VI storyline! These offer various relics that you can equip for your character's Head, Hands, Body, and Feet.
There are 6 difficulty levels that you can take in the Caverns of Corrosion, and they are tied to your Equilibrium Level to unlock. The higher your Equilibrium Level, the better your chance to get 5-Star Relics.
Planar Ornaments, on the other hand, can be obtained from the Similar Universe located in Herta's Office in the Herta Space Station. You unlock the relic after reaching World 3 in the Simulated Universe challenges!
After defeating an Elite Enemy, you will be able to interact with the Immersion Rewards, which will require the use of 1 Immersifier or 40 Trailblaze Power to get them.
Another way to get Relics Sets in Honkai: Star Rail is by completing tasks from the Intersastral Peace Guide Operations Briefing.
Each world or area in Honkai Star Rail has its own World Shop, where you can use that world's currency to buy items from the store and get additional rewards! You can get a full 4-piece set of relics from each shop.
Opening treasure chests found while exploring the worlds you visit will sometimes give you Relics. These treasures can easily be found in an area, but some will require you to solve puzzles, complete hidden quests, and even defeat strong enemies to open.
Completing Missions (Quests) will sometimes reward you with Relics. You can obtain them mainly from Trailblaze Missions, which follows the main story of Honkai: Star Rail.
Increase your Trailblaze Level to reach your level milestone, and you will be able to receive rewards from Pom-Pom aboard the Astral Express. Sometimes, these rewards contain Relics, alongside other items like Stellar Jades, Star Rail Passes, and Credits.
