You can build the Fire Trailblazer either with all DEF% main stats for a stronger shield, or with SPD and Energy Regeneration for frequent Ultimate usage.

Fire Trailblazer should have at least 30% Effect RES to activate the Broken Keel's party-wide CRIT DMG buff. Having Effect Hit Rate is also welcome since it increases the chances for the Fire Trailblazer to successfully taunt enemies.

Taunt Opponents to Attack Trailblazer

Use Trailblazer's Skill to taunt enemies into attacking them. When they are attacked they will gain stacks of Magma Will and give the entire party a shield.

Through their A2 Passive, allies will also receive a 15% damage reduction upon using the Trailblazer's Skill.

Stack Magma Will to Enhance Basic Attacks

By consuming stacks of Magma Will, the Trailblazer can do an enhanced version of their Basic Attack that can do splash damage to adjacent enemies. This is only made better by their first Eidolon which gives their enhanced basic attack additional damage based on their DEF.

This Enhanced Basic Attack will deal increased damage to enemies and on Toughness Bars, all while recovering a Skill Point for the Entire Party.

Use Ultimate For an Enhanced Basic Attack

Trailblazer's Ultimate scales off of their ATK and DEF. This will deal huge damage on an AoE. This will also give them a free Enhanced Basic Attack for no cost.

Use Technique To Get a Shield

Use their Technique before a fight to gain a shield. With their A6 Passive, whenever the Trailblazer is protected by a shield, they get an ATK boost and regenerate Energy.
