Vignettes in a Cup is a bartending event where you must craft drinks and tend to troubled customers at the Dreamjolt Hostelry.

Help the Dreamjolt Hostelry
In Vignettes in a Cup, the main objective of the event is to help Siobhan resolve the emotional troubles of the Dreamjolt Troupe members who are the patrons of the Dreamjolt Hostelry.
Solve the Patrons Emotional Troubles
All the patrons have emotional troubles, you must listen to them and serve them the drinks they want.
Eventually, you'll get to a point during the event quests where you can enter their Emoscape to solve their troubles in the form of various Penacony puzzles or mechanics!

Mix and Serve Drinks to Customers
During the event quests, the requests of the patrons will be highlighted in the dialogue box. Depending on the patron's request, you can either serve Premium Drinks or Free Mix.
Premium Drink Recipes are part of the menu while the Free Mix is a drink specially made by you. There are times when you have the option to use either the Premium Drink Recipes, Free Mix or both!

Serve Premium Drinks
Premium Drinks Recipes are drinks that have pre-determined recipes by Siobhan's Dreamjoly Hostelry. If you choose to create Premium Drinks, the event will give you instructions on how to create the drink.
Try the Recipe Deduction Challenge
The Recipe Deduction challenge is a part of the Vignettes in a Cup event where you must find out the recipes of specific drinks.
Note that you can only unlock the rest of the challenges once you've helped out 3 and 5 patrons with their troubles.

After helping all the patrons in the event, in the final quest, you must create a drink that best suits Siobhan! You will also experience her Emoscape.

Anonymous over 1 yearIt says this can still be complete for regular rewards, but I can't do anything. It won't let me progress. Every time I interact with the mixing bar, it just says "Now is not a good time..."
