Verdant Terrace 1 Guide

Begone, Evil 1 Details

Anomaly Every time an enemy takes action, their ATK, DEF, and SPD increase by 15%, stacking up to 5 time(s). All stacks are lost when Weakness Break is inflicted. When enemies obtain Fiendfire, immediately obtain 4 stack(s) of stats increase.
Recommended Exorcismic Edict: Evil Cleanse [AoE]
Depletes all enemies' Toughness and inflicts Quantum Weakness Break effect. Based on the ATK of the ally with the highest ATK on the team, deals Quantum DMG equal to 1,500 of their ATK to all enemies and increases enemies' DMG received by 20% for 1 turn.

Most enemies here are weak to Ice, Lightning, and Physical DMG, so bring characters of at least two of those elements. We also recommend bringing units that can resist or cleanse debuffs to prevent extra DMG.

How to Beat Begone, Evil 1

Use Edict: Evil Cleanse After Cirrus' Turn

Only use Edict: Evil Cleanse after Cirrus' takes their turn to prevent the enemy, who immediately takes their turn, from attacking your team. It is also possible that you can snatch the Fiendfire from the enemy if they have it after getting Advanced Forward.

Cleanse Debuffs

Enemies in Begone, Evil 1 have abilities that can inflict debuffs to your team. For example, The Ascended can inflict Prana-Siphon, which decreases Maximum Recoverable HP by 30%. When this happens, just use a character such as Natasha or Luocha to cleanse it!

If you don't have a character with cleanse, at least bring someone that can negate all Crowd Control debuffs like Fu Xuan. This is because the Aurumaton Spectral Envoy has abilities that can stun your characters!

Verdant Terrace 2 Guide

Begone, Evil 2 Details

Anomaly Enemy attacks cause the loss of 1 Skill Point(s). When enemies are defeated, allies receive 1 Skill Point(s). When enemies obtain Fiendfire, the next attack of the unit that obtained Fiendfire causes the loss of an additional 2 Skill Point(s).
Recommended Exorcismic Amulet: Fiend Seal [Support]
Regenerates Energy for all allies by an amount equal to 50% of their respective Max Energy and increases the next Ultimate's DMG by 50%.

The Spawn enemies here are mostly weak to Fire, Physical, and Lightning DMG, so bring characters who use those elements. Using Destruction or Erudition characters is highly recommended as these enemies can be easily taken out via AoE DMG.

How to Beat Begone, Evil 2

Use the Amulet - Fiend Seal Exorcismic

Use the Amulet: Fiend Seal Exorcismic to recover Skill Points drained by enemies. Save the Exorcismic after the enemy attacks to recover Skill Points or use it when you need to burst down the enemy with increased DMG.

Use Characters With AoE Abilities

Characters such as Blade and Himeko are great for Begone, Evil 2 since a hoard of Spawn enemies will appear per wave. With their AoE abilities, you can attack multiple enemies at the same time!

Also, with the Amulet: Fiend Seal Exorcismic, you will not have any troubles when it comes to Skill Point management since using it will just recover Skill Points.

Verdant Terrace 3 Guide

Begone, Evil 3 Details

Anomaly Every time an enemy target is defeated, DMG dealt by other enemies increases by 40%, stacking up to 4 time(s). When enemies obtain Fiendfire, the unit that obtained Fiendfire immediately obtains 1 stack(s) of DMG Boost.
Recommended Exorcismic Amulet: Altar Aegis [Enhance]
All allies receive 2 stack(s) of Altar Aegis, lasting for 3 turn(s). With Altar Aegis, all characters can block incoming DMG, and once hit, deal Ice DMG equal to 3,000% of their own DEF to the attacker. This DMG can neither CRIT hit nor defeat the enemy. For every incoming attack endured, 1 stack of Altar Aegis is lost.

Bring Wind or Imaginary characters as most enemies here are weak to those elements. Also, a mono team of Quantum characters can also work since Silver Wolf can implant a Quantum weakness into enemies.

For sustain units, we recommend bringing characters who can cleanse the Aurumaton Spectral Envoy and Wraith Warden debuffs.

How to Beat Begone, Evil 3

Use Amulet: Altar Aegis After Cirrus' Turn

Use Amulet: Altar Aegis right after Cirrus takes their turn so all the enemies whose turn got Advanced Forward will attack you. When this occurs, all of them will receive Ice DMG given that they do not attack one character 3 times.

After lowering the enemies' health with Amulet: Altar Aegis, finish them off using your characters' abilities, ideally an AoE attack.

Counter Crowd Control Debuffs

The Aurumaton Spectral Envoy and the Wraith Warden's abilities may inflict Reverberation. Initially, the debuff does not do anything to the affected target. But, after receiving another attack, they will enter the state called Strong Reverberation which stuns them.

With this, bring a character such as Natasha, Luocha, or Lynx so they can remove the debuff. Alternatively, bring Fu Xuan since her Matrix of Prescience can negate all Crowd Control debuffs for all of your characters!

Verdant Terrace 4 Guide

Begone, Evil 4 Details

Anomaly When an enemy attacks and deals DMG to an ally, that ally will be inflicted with Wind Shear for 2 turn(s), stacking up to 5 time(s). This can only take effect 1 time per action. While affected by Wind Shear, at the start of each turn, the ally will receive 50% of the attacker's ATK as Wind DoT.
When enemies obtain Fiendfire, the next attack from the unit that obtained Fiendfire will additionally inflict 2 more stack(s) of Wind Shear on the attacked ally.
Most enemies here are weak to Ice, Imaginary, and Wind. So, bring a DPS character from those elements. Unlike the previous levels, all enemies in this level are elite enemies, which makes it the most difficult level.

Amulet: Altar Aegis is the best Exorcismic for Begone, Evil 4 due to the massive Ice DMG that the elite enemies will receive if they attack a character in your team!

How to Beat Begone, Evil 4

Counter Using Amulet: Altar Aegis

Use the Amulet: Altar Aegis before an elite enemy's turn so that you can guarantee an attack from them within the next 3 turns. After attacking someone in your team, the elite enemies will receive Ice DMG!

Dispel Draining Hit Buff

The second enemy that Cirrus will bring out is the Shape Shifter. Its Draining Hit buff recovers its HP when the Shape Shifter attacks your team. But, this only triggers if enemies with the Rebirth buff are on the field. With this, simply dispel the buff from the Shape Shifter.

If you don't have characters like Pela or Luocha, you can just defeat the summoned Mara-Struck Soldiers, at least once, to remove the Rebirth buff.
