How to Get the Memory Crystal Shard

Interacting With a Holy Candle

When you first interact with any of the Holy Candles in Okhema, you will receive one Memory Crystal Shard.

Performing a Prayer Ritual

Walking up to one of the numerous basins in Okhema allows you to perform a prayer ritual. Your first prayer ritual will reward you with one Memory Crystal Shard.

Ride a Dromas

Riding a Dromas for the first time will allow grant you one Memory Crystal Shard.

Inspect a Fragment of Recollection

You will find various Fragments of Recollection throughout Okhema. Interact with them to get Memory Crystal Shards. Do note that you don't always get one in this way.

The Fragment of Recollection in the Private Room is Special

The Fragment of Recollection in your Private Room in Okhema, dubbed the Strange Crystal is special in that it will give you Memory Crystal Shards weekly.

After the weekly reset, go to the Strange Crystal and interact with it to get a large amount of Memory Crsytal Shards every week.

Talk to the Chrysos Heirs

Once you complete all of the available Trailblaze missions, you will find the Chrysos Heirs scattered throughout Okhema. Talking to them can reward you with Memory Crystal Shards.

Finish Side Quests

Finishing Side Quests is the easiest way to get a constant supply of Memory Crystal Shards.

How to Use the Memory Crystal Shard

Buy Items from Janus Steeds

You can use your Memory Crystal Shards to buy various items from the Janus Steeds in Okhema and Sanctum of Prophecy. Buyable items include numerous Synthesis Recipes, Records, and even Mystery Gifts!

Get Creation Nymph Locations from the Garmentmaker

You can also trade your Memory Crystal Shards for the locations of Creation Nymphs. Simply approach the Garmentmaker located in each Amphoreus map and turn over one of your Memory Crystal Shards. They will then reveal the location of a Creation Nymph you haven't collected yet.
