Reach Trailblaze Level 12

To unlock the Assignments feature, you need to reach Trailblaze Level 12. You can reach this easily by doing Trailblaze Missions and other things that reward Trailblaze EXP.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

	Dispatching Assignments
1	Open the menu using this icon on the upper left of the screen.
2	Click the Assignments icon on the menu.
3	Select the type of assignment, duration, and the characters to be assigned.
4	Wait for it to be completed and claim the rewards.

Assignment Rules and Tips

You Always Need Two Characters

Assignments always require two characters to be dispatched. It would not allow you to run the assignment if you only select one character and you can still use dispatched characters in battle, so do it often!

Always Use Recommended Characters

Using recommended characters in your assignment dispatches will net you an additional reward. These characters are often marked with an up arrow to signify that they are the ones recommended for that assignment request. Make sure to always take advantage of this!

Try Not to Cancel Assignments

If you cancel the assignment, you can recall the dispatched character but you will not receive any reward. Make sure to always dispatch the right character so you do not end up cancelling the assignment!

How to Increase the Assignment Limit

By default, you are only able to assign two assignments. This number increases when you progress through the main story, so be sure to complete all the Trailblaze Missions.

Experience materials are the first priority whenever you are going to dispatch an assignment. They are universal for each character unlike synthesis materials and can be used from early stages to later parts of the game.

Character materials are the ones you will be wanting to get next. They are needed for Traces of each character and are vital for their progression, next to experience materials. When you need a specific character material, place the dispatch for that request.

Credits Also Recommended

Credits can deplete depending on how fast you use them, so they are also a good choice if you have too much character materials already.

Recommended Dispatch Time

20-Hour Dispatches are Recommended

The 20-hour dispatch time is the most efficient. It gives you more materials in a shorter amount of time. For comparison, here are all other dispatch times:
