There are 9 Paths players can choose in the Simulated Universe in Honkai: Star Rail. See the list of all Paths in the game, their effects, and how to get them, here!

Path of Erudition

The Resonance of the Path of Erudition will deal some minor Imaginary DMG and links the enemy with the highest Max HP with other enemies on the field, inflicting Synapse Resonance.

Synapse Resonance allows an enemy target and the enemy with the highest Max HP to take some Ultimate DMG each time you attack them.

The Path of Erudition can only be unlocked after unlocking all the Trailblaze and Aeon Secrets of Gold and Gears. You then need to clear the mission, Gold and Gears: The End.

Path of Propagation

The resonance of the Path of Propagation can give a certain amount of skill points for characters like Qingque or Imbibitor Lunae. This gives you an extra enhanced Basic ATK after consuming a lot of Skill Points.

Path of Propagation can only be unlocked once you complete all the chapters available within the Swarm Disaster game mode and the Adventure Mission, Swarm Disaster: The End.

Path of Preservation

A Path that provides your party with Shields and offers a Resonance Path, which deals physical damage based on the total amount of shield your party has. This is recommended to players who mainly use characters who provide shields, such as Gepard or Trailblazer (Fire).

Path of Abundance

The Path of Abundance is focused mostly on providing players with heals and cleanse with its Path Resonance. Its blessings let you deal damage to your opponent when you heal an ally and higher HP recovery for your Healers, such as Bailu or Luocha.

Path of Nihility

A Path that focuses mostly on inflicting debuffs on opponents and enhancing the effects of status ailments. Characters such as Kafka or Sampo benefit greatly when going for this Path as some of Nihlity's blessings increase the duration of their status ailments.

Path of The Hunt

A Path that offers blessings that increase the SPD of your party. It allows them to act faster than your enemies and regain their action within a turn. Its Path resonance lets you use it repeatedly as long as you defeat an enemy.

It's recommended to bring DPS characters that focus on dealing single target damage, such as Seele or Sushang, when choosing this Path.

Path of The Hunt Guide

Path of Remembrance

This Path offers players a high chance to freeze their opponents and is able to reduce your enemies' Effect Resistance. When used properly, and with the right blessings, it's possible to freeze an enemy for multiple turns.

Bring characters who can freeze enemies such as March 7th, Gepard, or Yanqing to make the most out of the Path.

Path of Remembrance Guide

Path of Destruction

The Path of Destruction's playstyle revolves around high-risk, high-reward gameplay, where you deal with highly damaging attacks using its Path Resonance as long as your party has a low health pool.

Characters like Blade, who deal bonus damage the lower his health, will benefit greatly when choosing this Path.

Path of Elation

A Path that enhances all Follow-Up attacks and is able to consider any Ultimates to be a follow-up attack. Characters with follow-up attacks like Clara, Jing Yuan, and Himeko works well with this Path.

What Are Paths in Simulated Universe

Provides Blessings to Players

Paths can provide players with Blessings, which are special buffs used in the Simulated Universe in order to help you clear them. These buffs are randomly obtained after completing certain tasks inside the Simulated Universe.

Collecting enough Blessings from a specific Path will give you a special Path Resonance, which are powerful attacks that can help turn the tide of battle.

Can Be Enhanced With Better Effects

Right before a Boss Domain, Herta will let you enhance the Blessings you currently own in exchange for Cosmic Fragments. Certain Curio and Event Domains can also upgrade a random Blessing you currently own.

Allows The Use of Path Resonance

Each Path allows access to a very powerful ability called Path Resonance and its effects are differs for each Path. These Path Resonance have its uses, from dealing heavy elemental damage to all your enemies, to being able to act first or heal your entire party.

How to Get Path Blessings in Simulated Universe

Defeat Enemies in Simulated Universe

Defeating enemies in the Standard Universe will always let you draw a random Blessing from a pool of three cards. Choose the one you need in order to clear the World.

Regular enemies in Combat Domains can drop 1 to 2-Star Blessings. Meanwhile, Elite Enemies will always drop 3-Star Blessings, while Special Trotters can also drop 3-Star Blessings.

All Enemies and Weaknesses Guide

Acquire From Curio

Certain Curio will give you Blessings depending on their Effects. They can also enhance your blessings without needing to spend Cosmic Fragments.

Notably, the Stamping Wax Curios will always give you a random Blessing from a specific Path.

Buy From Herta Using Cosmic Fragments

In Respite Domains, after and Elite Domain, Herta will be there to give you options for buffs in exchange for Cosmic Fragments. One of these options is to buy a 1-Star Blessing for 80 Cosmic Fragments.

Obtained Randomly From Special Domains

Special Domains that aren't Combat domains have a random chance of giving you a special event. Some of these events can give you high rarity Blessings or upgrade existing Blessings.

In exchange, some of these Special Domains can also contain powerful enemies that prematurely end your run if you're not careful.
