Origami Bird Clash is an event where you must play Penacony's new arcade game and have Match-Three battles against other players!

Version 3.4 included the Origami Bird Clash: Official Edition, which is a rerun featuring new game mechanics and items! The original version of the event, which released back in Version 2.3, is still available as a Conventional Memoir event and can be replayed whenever.

Currently, Origami Bird Clash is also the new Multiplayer Event in Version 3.4.

Finish Stranger in a Strange Land

Honkai Star Rail - Stranger in a Strange Land

To unlock Origami Bird Clash and its Official Edition, you must finish the Stranger in a Strange Land Trailblaze Mission. This is the last mission in the Farewell, Penacony mission series.

Unlock Early with Finality's Vision

If you're at Trailblaze Level 21 or higher, you can unlock the 3.4 Official Edition of Origami Bird Clash through the Finality's Vision without clearing the pre-requisite mission or the original event!

However, it is still recommended to complete the Trailblaze Mission above and finish the original Origami Bird Clash before playing the Official Edition for the best experience.

In the Official Edition of Origami Bird Clash, the Story Mode stages are split into 4 parts. As you defeat opponents, you'll also unlock more Battle Items! Completing certain parts will also earn you new Origami Birds as well as raise your Reputation Rank for new combat features!

There are two challenge modes in Origami Bird Clash: Story Challenge and Open Challenge. Story Challenges will advance your event progress, while Open Challenges are rematch battles with tougher difficulties!

You can unlock the Open Challenge mode after you've beaten all Story Challenges.

All Bird Abilities and How to Unlock

Trailbirder	Unlocked by Default For every 5 Kiwifruits eliminated, randomly trigger 2x2 square detonation on the board 2 times.
Silbird Wolf	Clear Golden Challenge For every 7 Blueberries cleared, randomly transform 1 fruit on the board to a Super Bomb. Swapping Super Bombs and adjacent fruits can clear all fruits of the same type on the grid.
March Bird	Clear Vermilion Challenge For every 6 Strawberries cleared, randomly transform 4 fruit on the board to Line Bombs. Line Bombs can detonate a row or a column when eliminated.
Birefly	Clear Red Challenge For every 7 Bananas eliminated, randomly trigger cross-shaped detonation on the board 1 time.
Robird	Clear Blue Challenge For every 7 Peaches cleared, randomly transform 4 fruit on the board to Square Bombs. Square Bombs can detonate a 3x3 square box area when eliminated.
Jadebird	Clear Official Edition Tutorial For every 5 Blueberries eliminated, trigger 3x3 square detonation in the middle of the board 1 time.
Bootbird	Clear Official Edition Part 2 For every 5 Peaches eliminated, randomly transform 3 fruits on the board to Boost Peach. Boost Peaches can provide 3 Combat Power when eliminated.
Qingbird	Clear Official Edition Part 3 Every time 3 Super Bombs are eliminated, randomly recover 1 item's usage count by 1.

Origami Bird Clash: Official Edition introduces 8 different Battle Items to the game! These can be used to help you out during a duel and give you an advantage over your opponent.

You can level up your Battle Items at Reputation Rank 2 with Tweet-Twet Toolboxes to either increase their number of uses or strengthen their effects!

In Origami Bird Clash, you will be introduced to an arcade game wherein you must match fruits to build up your origami bird's power and defeat various opponents.

Find Arcade Machines Around Penacony

To start each challenge, you'll first need to locate its respective arcade machine around Penacony and bring them back to the Radiant Feldspar.

Line Up Many Fruits in Limited Moves

The strategy to winning is to line up multiple sets of 3 or more matching fruit. You will be given a limited number of moves, so make effective use of them to clear out multiple fruits all at once!

Create Bombs by Lining Up 4 or More Fruits

Honkai Star Rail - Create Bombs by Lining Up 4 or More Fruits

Lining up 4 matching fruit creates Line Bombs while lining up 5 matching fruit makes Super Bombs!

Line Bombs will clear an entire row or column of fruit when detonated. On the other hand, Super Bombs will clear all fruit of the same type based on the fruit you swap its position with.

Target Specific Fruits to Charge Up

Based on the bird you're controlling for the battle, you'll need to target a specific fruit to build up energy. Each bird has its own skills that will help eliminate fruit faster.

Strategize Around Field Mechanisms

Field Mechanism	Effect
Chest	Chests cannot move. Clear adjacent fruits to gradually unlock them until they open. After unlocking the chest, you can change 2 fruits into a type that matches the bird's abilities.
Ice Blocks	Ice Blocks cannot move. Clear surrounding fruits to destroy them.
Explosives	Explosives cannot be moved. Clearing adjacent fruits can Charge the explosive until it explodes. Explosions can destroy all surrounding fruits.
Notes	When fruits with notes attached are cleared, you can regain 1 move.
Seals	Seals cannot be moved. Clear adjacent fruits or perform a match-3 to dispel the seal.

You'll sometimes encounter special blocks or mechanisms on the board which can either help or hinder you in the battle. Strategize your moves based on their effects!

Get Your Opponent to Zero HP

Once a turn ends, your damage will be calculated based on how much fruit you've cleared compared to your opponent. If you're able to make your opponent reach 0 HP first, you win the match!

After you've beaten all Story Challenges, you can challenge harder versions of the battles you've faced for extra rewards!

Unlock Multiplayer Mode

A multiplayer mode that will allow you to challenge other players to the game will also be open for a limited time after you cleared certain Story Challenges.

In Multiplayer Bonanza, there will be 6 participants in each game and players must battle each other in pairs so it narrows down to the last two standing!
