How to Play Tales of the Fantastic

1	To start the event, answer a message from Mr. Xiyan and head to the Central Starkiff Haven to talk to him.
2	Talking to Mr. Xiyan will start the Tales of the Fantastic: Chapter 1 Mission which is part of the Hero's Journey event section.
3	After completing the Hero's Journey mission, you will unlock the protagonist model and the plot armor buffs included in it.
4	Talk to Mr Xiyan once again to enter the Legends Past and Present combat stages. Get a high score to get all the rewards!

Hero's Journey Guide

Complete the Objectives in the Mission

Hero's Journey is a mission and an excursion domain. You start by talking to Mr Xiyan, and he'll take you to the quest area, where you must complete the objective within an excursion domain.

You must complete objectives like becoming a cycrane to collect pellets, exploring the area for items, defeating enemies, and more!

Unlock Slots in the Protagonist Model

The protagonist model is a collection of slots for the plot armor buffs. These slots correspond to a specific Legends Past and Present Scene or stage, and each slot has a different set of buffs you can add!

Talk to Mr Xiyan to Access the Stages

After completing the Hero's Journey Mission of the day, you can head back to the Central Starskiff Haven and talk to Mr Xiyan once again to access the Legends Past and Present Scenes or stages.

Legends Past and Present is the combat stage of the event, and this is where you can use the trial characters and plot armor buffs against waves of enemies!

Equip Plot Armor in the Protagonist Model

Before entering the combat stage, you must equip at least one plot armor within the protagonist model slots. You must choose the best plot armor that compliments the stage effect buffs for that difficulty!

Use Trial and Recommended Characters

After choosing the plot armor buffs, press the team setup button to select the characters you want to use. Clicking on a team member slot will show you the stage's recommended characters and the trial characters!

You can create a team around the trial characters or choose an entirely different team comp that compliments the stage effect and plot armor buffs!

Defeat Waves of Enemies

The goal of the stages is to defeat as many waves of enemies as possible within a set number of turns, similar to the Forgotten Hall feature! The more enemies you defeat, the higher your score will be.

Complete the Legend of the Trailblazer Chapters

Upon completing the stages, you unlock passages on the Legend of the Trailblazer, a readable that can be accessed in the event or stage menu when you talk to Mr Xiyan!
