Anaxa is a powerful Erudition DPS with the ability to implant missing Weaknesses onto an enemy. He can be played either as a solo Hypercarry DPS or can be paired up with The Herta in a dual DPS team.
Since Anaxa can implant missing weaknesses, he can excel across scenarios with multiple enemies regardless of if they have a Wind weakness or not. Anaxa can also do well in single-target scenarios thanks to his Skill's Bounce property.
If you want a Main DPS that can do well in all Endgame modes or want an upgrade to your The Herta teams, Anaxa is very well worth pulling for!
Anaxa's Light Cone, Life Should Be Cast to Flames, is tailor-suited for him since it helps him deal more DMG to enemies he implanted a weakness on. This Light Cone is very strong if Anaxa is built as a hypercarry DPS.
While Anaxa's damage output is massive with Life Should Be Cast to Flames, he doesn't need it to bring out his full potential. The Great Cosmic Enterprise is a great free-to-play alternative that synergizes greatly with Anaxa's kit.

For Anaxa's Build, prioritize CRIT Rate over CRIT DMG since he can get a lot of CRIT DMG from either his Bonus Ability or The Herta's Message From Beyond the Veil ability.
Genius of Brilliant Stars will be Anaxa's best relic set especially when paired with his signature Light Cone, Life Should be Cast to Flames. This is because his Signature Light Cone applies DEF reduction. On top of the DEF reduction provided by his LC, Anaxa will also further ignore enemy DEF once enemies receive Quantum Weakness.
If you don't have Anaxa's Light Cone, Scholar Lost in Erudition can perform almost as good as Genius. Eagle of Twilight Line is another best option for when you're using Anaxa with The Herta.
In general, your best Relics will always be the sets with the best Substats. You can learn more about Anaxa's Relic, Ornament, and Light Cones in the sections below.
| Stat | Recommended Value |
|---|---|
| CRIT Rate | 80% - 100% |
| CRIT DMG | 100% or above outside of combat |
| SPD | 134/135 or Any SPD Breakpoint above |
| ATK | 2500 or above |
Anaxa will need at least 80% CRIT Rate to deal consistent critical hits and hit the threshold for Rutilant Arena. While Anaxa can get CRIT DMG from either his Bonus Ability or The Herta's, having at least 100% CRIT DMG outside of combat should be enough.
As for Speed, Anaxa just needs 134 or 135 SPD and should be 1 SPD higher than the turn advance support. Higher Speed is also an option, but do take note of SPD breakpoints.

Every attack Anaxa makes implants a random Weakness on an enemy. This can stack and he can inflict multiple Weaknesses on an enemy.

Anaxa's Ultimate places enemies into the Sublimation state, where they are weak to all elements. They will also not be able to move unless they have Control RES.
If an enemy acts with two turns, it's best to use the Ultimate after their first turn to delay their next turn.

Anaxa's Skill hits a single target and then bounces to other enemies. Each enemy can be hit multiple times for more damage and they receive more Weaknesses.

Anaxa's Talent can put enemies in a Qualitative Disclosure when they accumulate enough Weaknesses. Enemies in this state receive increased DMG from Anaxa and when he attacks them, an additional Skill is triggered.
