How to Farm Credits |

The fastest way to farm credits in Honkai: Star Rail is to repeatedly run the Calyx (Golden): Bud of Treasures. While this will cost you 10 Trailblaze Power per challenge wave, you can get up to 24,000 credits at the highest difficulty.
Running the Calyx at max difficulty and challenge wave will give you a hefty amount of credits totaling 144,000 each run.
Try to destroy any destructible objects you encounter along your path, as they often reward you with credits.
Talk to Pom-Pom in the Astral Express, and Pom-Pom will reward you with a bunch of items, credits, and sometimes Star Rail Passes for each time you level up your Trailblaze Level.
Opening treasure chests you find from exploring each world will reward you with credits, materials, and sometimes even Stellar Jades.
Be sure to interact with NPCs or objects, as some treasure chests are only accessible by solving puzzles or completing hidden quests!
Completing quests will often reward the player with credits. While there are a limited amount of missions you can take, daily missions will reset every day, so be sure to do those if you want to get credits!
Obtaining Activity Points and progressing through the Daily Training will reward you with credits. These are easy to complete and serve as part of your dailies to get credits, exp, materials, and even Stellar Jades.
Enemies you encounter on the field will drop credits upon their defeat, although it's not recommended since you only get a fraction of it. However, you do have a chance to get materials as a drop, which you can use to level up your character's traces.

You can buy credits in the World Shops after you purchase all the limited items. Note that there is no exchange limit for credits!

While not recommended, you can buy credits from the Embers Exchange Store for 12x Undying Embers for the limited availability and x25 for the unlimited.
Currency | Cost | Quantity |
---|---|---|
x12 | 80 purchases per refresh | |
x25 | Unlimited |
In addition to the credits you receive from the Point Rewards every week, you can also get some whenever you defeat the elite enemies and bosses in the Simulated Universe. Note that the higher the difficulty, the more credits you obtain. With this, we recommend farming the highest difficulty available for you!
Credits can be used at a store to purchase items, such as consumables, materials, and recipes. These items will restock every day, so you can repeatedly buy them.
Leveling up your characters will require a huge amount of credits to get them to their max level on top of the materials needed. This also applies if you want to ascend your character and reach levels beyond the level cap.
Character Traces also requires you to use credits before you can upgrade or unlock them.
On top of the EXP Material you need to use on your equipment, you also have to use credits when enhancing Light Cones and Relics.

I would also add farming simulated universe runs. Each elite and final boss give credits. 1k~, 4k~, 5k~ equaling about 10k credits per run at max level. Can be farmed for credits up to 100 runs a week before it stops giving credits.

Important info that should be in the top: All give the same amount of xp/credits/lc xp, but the first one (Yarilo-IV) is a lot easier/faster by not a small margin.
