Credits are the main currency of the game and are best spent on upgrading Traces and Leveling Up Characters, as well as enhancing your Light Cones.

We recommend saving up Stellar Jades to purchase Star Rail Special Passes as these are used to pull Limited Warp Banners.
These types of banners have better items and characters to receive than the Permanent Warp Banners.

Oneiric Shards are Honkai: Star Rail's currency paid with real world money. These can be used to redeem Stellar Jades with an exchange rate of 1 = 1.
Additionally, for players just starting out and are planning to whale, they can also opt to buy Herta Contracts to reduce the time farming for Credits and other Upgrade Materials.

Undying Starlights can be exchanged for 5-Star Light Cones from the Starlight Exchange via the Store menu.
This is your only chance to choose rare Light Cones appropriate for your Character's path without having to rely on Gacha.

Undying Embers can be exchanged for Star Rail Special Passes and Star Rail Passes which are used to pull Warp Banners. Undying Embers can also be spent on Tracks of Destiny from the Ember Exchange found in the Store menu.
The Tracks of Destiny is a material used for maxing out the Traces of characters. You can only get a very limited amount of Tracks of Destiny every month, making it a very valuable item in the Exchange store!
