Victory Zones are like excursion domains, but you can access the map to keep track of your progress and location!
In the zones, you can catch or defeat Aether Spirits. There are also treasure chests and puzzles. Completing them unlocks new areas. You can also get rewards from challengers.

Follow the quest objectives while inside the Victory Zones. It will lead you to the puzzles to open sections of the map and toward the Champion of the zone.
You will get a Mastery Mark after defeating the Champion. It will usually end the quest (except for the second one), and you can explore the zone if you missed anything.

Once you have the Mastery Mark, you can access a restricted area. You can find more chests, spirits, challengers, and the Overlord Aether Spirit in this area. Each zone houses an Overlord Aether Spirit, an elite enemy you can collect as a spirit!

Aether Spirits are copies of in-game enemies you can use to battle against other players of Aetherium Wars! You can obtain Aether Spirits by defeating them in the Victory Zones, during the first two quests, and by talking to Barrie.

To level up Aether Spirits, defeat challengers and Aether Spirits in victory zones to get Aether Spirit Upgrade Data. Note that you must defeat a number of victory zone champions to level up to a certain level.
After levelling up, you can get slots for Expansion Chips which serve to buff your spirits! You can get these chips from victory zone challengers, chests, and Hyperlink Matches.
| Type | Strong Against | Weak Against |
|---|---|---|
There are three types of Aether Spirits: Humanoid, Mechanical, and Aberrant. When spirits of different types battle, they can cancel each other out. Additionally, if a spirit deals damage to a spirit it is strong against, the damage increases by 15%.

After building your Aether Spirits, you must create a team of four spirits. You must use spirits that go against your opponents' spirits! Note that you can only add one Overlord Aether Spirit to a team.

The Championship Matches are within the Final Showdown! Intergalactic Celebration! Adventure Mission where you must fight four finalists, the previous champion, and the hidden champion!

This guide is amazing! I was struggling with some of the fights before, but all the strategies provided here work wonders and make this much easier. I didn't have to think in detail about how to approach any fight I was struggling with. Made it much easier to reach completion. I do feel like maybe they made this event a little too difficult, perhaps... far harder then the base game, honestly, for the most part.
