How to Unlock Omni-Synthesizer

The Omni-Synthesizer allows you to synthesize materials to create Consumables, exchange or craft Upgrade Materials, and craft Relics in Honkai: Star Rail. See how to unlock the Omni-Synthesizer and how to use it in our guide!

Omni-Synthesizer Updates in 2.1

Toggle Between Trace Material Rarities

The 2.1 Livestream announced that a new Quality of Life update will be made to the Omni-Synthesizer in Version 2.1. When the update drops on March 27, 2024, players will be able to quickly toggle between Trace Material rarities when crafting them.

How to Unlock Omni-Synthesizer

Unlocked at Trailblaze Level 14

Once you reach Trailblaze Level 14, you'll unlock the Omni-Synthesizer and the ability to Synthesize materials to create Consumables and exchange Upgrade Materials!

You will immediately receive a notification that you can use the Synthesize option through your phone.

Alternatively, you can access the actual Synthesizer found in the Parlor Car.

Synthesizing Consumables

	How to Synthesize Consumables
1	Open the Synthesize menu either by accessing it through your phone or at the Parlor Car.
2	Choose a Consumable item that you want to create. You will need the required materials, and you'll only be able to choose the recipes that you've unlocked.
3	Select the Quantity. The amount of materials needed would increase the more items you want to create.
4	Hit Synthesize to produce the item.

Material Exchange

Material Exchange consumes the available materials you have in exchange for the creation of other materials that otherwise you don't own yet.

You can unlock more formulas by increasing your Equilibrium Level.

	How to Exchange Materials
1	Choose a Material and select the plus icon under "Materials Needed".
2	Select two materials that you want to exchange.
3	Choose a quantity, the higher you choose, the more materials you'll consume.
4	Hit Synthesize to exchange the materials.

Material Synthesis

Material Synthesis allows you to increase a material's rarity and quality in exchange for its similar variant of lower rarity.

This can be unlocked after completing the Trial of the Equilibrium: Part Two.

	How to Use Material Synthesis
1	Choose a material you want to upgrade.
2	Select the Quantity. The materials consumed for this will be the same as the original but of lower rarity.
3	Hit Synthesize. You will also spend Credits when crafting Relics.

Relic Crafting

Relic crafting allows you to craft 5 star Relics in exchange for Relic Remains.

This feature can be unlocked after completing the Trial of the Equilibrium: Part Three!

	How to Craft Relics
1	Choose a set you want to craft a piece from.
2	Select the piece to be crafted.
2	If you want to change the main stat of the piece, click this button and choose the one you want. You need 1 Self-Modeling Resin per customization.
3	Select the Quantity. You need 100 Relic Remains to craft a piece.
4	Hit Synthesize. You also need to spend Credits when crafting.

Recipes are sold in World Shops located on Herta Space Station, Jarilo-VI, and the Xianzhou Luofu. They can only be purchased with the currency tied to that world.

Vending machines and the district shop are all located in the Administrative District. While there are multiple vending machines in the city, they all sell the same items!

Both of the stores above are located in Central Starskiff Haven. The grocery stand is located in the middle of the city while the food stall is behind the Starwatcher Avenue space anchor!

Punitive Food	Talk to Amo who is near the Goethe Hotel space anchor in the Administrative District.
Punitive Energy	Talk to the NPC named Nika in the Administrative District.
Wrathful Gauntlets	Do the Rock, Paper, Scissors Challenge in Boulder Town. To start the challenge pick up the invitation inside the Fight Club.
Yucky Fried Rice	When you enter the Grand Goethe Hotel in Boulder Town, answer the review form on the desk. Then, give it to Gertie outside of the hotel.
Vomit Inducing Agent	Talk to the NPC named Maxime, who is also known as the Forgetful Miner, in Boulder Town.
High-Tech Protective Gear	Bother Bronya in Qlipoth Fort by investigating her desk and rummaging through her stuff.
Inferior Protective Gear	Talk to the NPC named Fidora in Boulder Town. She gives you the recipe after your first interaction with her.
