The Illusory Maze is part of the Sojourner's Ghastly Reverie Trailblaze Continuance Mission, which is the first quest of A Foxian Tale of the Haunted. To find the Illusory Maze's exit, you need to solve the three sets of puzzles above!

Illusory Maze Door Puzzle Guide

Find the Exit of the Illusory Maze Doors

Door 1 Puzzle Solution

When you spawn inside the Illusory Maze for the first time, the only available door will be the one in front of you, so go through this door.

Once all the doors in the spawn area open, go through the left door. It will be the only door with one red lantern since the other one is destroyed.

You will notice that you have entered the correct door if the lanterns on the order side are yellow.

Door 2 Puzzle Solution

When you are inside the room whose doors have yellow lanterns beside them, enter the one in front of you. This door will lead you to the final room, which contains hanging lanterns.

Door 3 Puzzle Solution

Similar to the previous puzzles, the correct option for the last door will be the one with only one lantern. With this, enter the left door which only has a single hanging lantern beside it.

You will notice that you have entered the correct door if a Sustenance Anchor is present on the other side.

Vase 1 Puzzle Solution

All Vermillion Vases

For the first vase puzzle, the first one is located to the left of the door in front of the entrance. The second vase is located beside the door to the right.

This guide is for the puzzle you encounter after talking to Cirrus for the first time. It requires you to break all the bright red colored vases. There are 2 vermillion vases in the area marked in-game.

Vase 2 Puzzle Solution

For the second vase puzzle, all the vases needed to be destroyed are on the right side of the room.

This guide is for the puzzle you encounter after finding Huohuo inside the maze. The puzzle requires you to break all the deep blue-colored vases. There are 3 vases in the area marked in-game.

Chest 1 Puzzle Solution

1. Enter the room that contains several treasure chests.
2. Only open the treasure chest in the middle, specifically the Basic Treasure.

General Puzzle Tips

Pick Up the Note Before Doing the Puzzles

In the Trailblaze Continuance Mission, a series of notes called Nighttale of Fyxestroll Garden will be available to read before doing the vase and chest puzzles. These notes contain the instructions needed to be followed to solve the puzzles.

Vase and Chest Puzzles Walkthrough

Open the Gloomy Door When You're Done

Only open the Gloomy Door after solving all the puzzles within the marked area. This is because your progress for the puzzles will reset if you tried opening the door immediately.

So, when you reach the area with the second vase puzzle and chest puzzle, solve all of them first before you attempt to open the Gloomy Door!

Illusory Maze Mirror Puzzle Guide

Listen to the Voice in the Mirror, and Determine Whether It's Real or Fake

Bronze Mirror 1 Puzzle Solution

After spawning in the first room, enter the mirror to your left. Huohuo will mention that the real Xueyi is behind the mirror.

Bronze Mirror 2 Puzzle Solution

After spawning in the second room, enter the mirror in the middle. The Xueyi behind this mirror will answer all of your questions accurately. Huohuo will also mention that the Xueyi behind the mirror is real.

Bronze Mirror 3 Puzzle Solution

After spawning in the third room, investigate all the available mirrors but do not pass through any of them. A short cutscene will then trigger where Huohuo and Tail will mention that none of the mirrors are real.

After the cutscene, another mirror behind the spawn point will appear. Enter the newly spawned mirror on the other floating island.
