To unlock Percipient, you must be at Trailblaze Level 34 and complete the prior Trailblaze Continuance Mission, Twins.

Percipient is the third major quest within the Trailblaze Continuance, A Foxian Tale of the Haunted. The quest involves interacting with several members of the Divination Commission.

Percipient also doubles as an event quest for A Foxian Tale of the Haunted. The Trailblaze Continuance occurs simultaneously with the event, so quest progress unlocks more event content!

Unlocks the Sword Essence Mission

Completing Percipient unlocks the Trailblaze Continuance Mission called Sword Essence, which is a continuation of the event.

Note that a mission called Fyxestroll Gathering III will occur first before Sword Essence. This acts like an intermission where all characters involved in the event will gather first before investigating the next key event!

Get Information Out of Cirrus

At the start of Percipient, you need to get some information out of Cirrus by talking to them. You can find them near the Verdant Terrace Entrance teleporter in the Fyxestroll Garden.

A fight against Cirrus will start after talking to them. Enemies during the fight will be Wraith Wardens and Illumination Dragonfishes!

Meet Up With Qingque

The next objective is to meet up with Qingque at the entrance of the Divination Commission. After teleporting to the area using the quest marker on your map, proceed to Qingque's actual location.

After the conversation with Qingque, go to the marked location shown in-game, Fu Xuan will be there.

Enter the Illusory Maze: Keralum

To progress the quest, you need to start an Exploratory Excursion tasked by Fu Xuan. We recommend using Lightning, Wind, and Quantum characters since most enemies are weak to those!

The strongest enemy you will encounter in the Exploratory Excursion is the Aurumaton Gatekeeper. So make sure to bring a DPS character which can inflict Weakness Break against it.

Solve Fu Xuan's Pathfinder Puzzles

Fu Xuan will give you three Pathfinder Puzzles to solve. Entering the correct movement commands will allow the ingenia to escape the maze. In the third puzzle, Huohuo and the Trailblazer will act as obstacles. See a full guide on how to solve all puzzles here!

All Pathfinder Puzzle Solutions

Fight Keralum

After solving all the Pathfinder Puzzles, you will need to fight Keralum, the heliobi that possessed Fu Xuan. Do note that the fight involves the Exorcismics and Fiendfire mechanics.

Use Basic ATKs on the Aurumaton Gatekeeper

During Keralum's boss fight, only use Basic ATKs when attacking the Aurumaton Gatekeeper to slow down the Sanction Rate increase. Only use your DPS' Skill when you can guarantee a Weakness Break against it.

If you did not manage to Weakness Break the Aurumaton Gatekeeper before it enters Sanction Mode, you can enable its weakness again by defeating the Illumination Dragonfishes.

Use Ultimates to Claim Fiendfire

Fiendfire is a mechanic that will appear in the Action Order. If the red flame is on top, enemies will be enhanced, increasing their damage. With this in mind, use Ultimates to snatch the Fiendfire from enemies.

To steal the Fiendfire, If the second to the top enemy has a red flame, use an Ultimate to take it from them and turn it into a green flame. When it is green, you can charge the Exorcismics ability. For this fight, the Exorcismics can recover Skill Points.

Go to the Suppression Tower

Finally, proceed to the marked suppression tower in the Fyxestroll Garden to cast the heliobus into it. After that, talk to Hanya, who is located in the same area. Before the quest ends, a group message with the Ghost-Hunting Squad will pop up.

Progress through the messages to end the quest. Do note that your fans will increase and new Investigation Assignments will be available right after!
