The stats indicated above are Yukong's base values. These numbers do not include the character's equipped Light Cone, Relics, or activated Trace nodes. |
Yukong is a strong CRIT buffer in the early game especially if you just started the game. The downside is that her buffs only affect allies that come after her in the turn order, so some SPD tuning should be done.

Yukong's buffs aren't tied to her stats, so we recommend building Yukong with HP% and DEF% stats to help her survive much longer. You also need at least 30% Effect RES to activate the Broken Keel effect.
Stat | Recommended Value |
---|---|
SPD | 1 or 2 SPD faster than DPS |
HP | 3800 or above |
DEF | 1000 or above |
It's important to tune Yukong's SPD to be 1 or 2 SPD faster than the DPS since her Skill and Ultimate will buff the next ally taking their turn.

Yukong | Dan Heng | Serval | Natasha |
This Free-to-Play Yukong team will have two DPS units who can benefit from Yukong's Skill buff. It's important for Yukong to either take her turn first (right before the two DPS units) or go last (just before the DPS units take their turn again).

The team posted is just one sample of possible team comps.
Yukong can fit in any team comp since she provides buffs that increase stats relevant to dealing damage. Ideally, you will want a second damage dealer to benefit from the ATK% Yukong will provide from her Skill. You can also settle for a support that can deal damage.
Alternative | Explanation |
---|---|
Hunt, Destruction, or Erudition Characters | DPS and Flex Replacement Any Hunt, Destruction, or Erudition character can act as the Main DPS or Sub-DPS on the team. You are not restricted in needing to have an Imaginary damage dealer. |
Welt | Flex Replacement Welt as a Sub DPS in the team can take full advantage of Yukong's buffs since she also provides a bonus to Imaginary DMG. |
Pela | Flex Replacement Any support that can deal some damage (like Pela) through their Skills and Ultimate can also benefit from Yukong's damage buffs. |
Preservation or Abundance Characters | Healer Replacement Any defensive support that can keep the team alive is perfectly fine in Yukong's team. These characters will ideally only take their action outside of Yukong's buff window anyways. |

A Yukong Imaginary team can be effective if all of the characters in it are built with a bit of damage dealing potential. All Imaginary characters in this team will want to use Wastelander of Banditry Desert to maximize their damage.

Order | Fast Yukong | Slow Yukong |
---|---|---|
1st | Yukong | Flex / DPS |
2nd | Flex / DPS | Flex / DPS |
3rd | Flex / DPS | Healer / Shielder |
4th | Healer / Shielder | Yukong |
You can speed tune Yukong in two ways, either going first in the team (Fast Yukong) or going last (Slow Yukong).
Fast Yukong will require more Speed stats in order to activate her Skill buff at the start of the fight. The advantage of this is being able to maximize damage in the fight early, which can be important to time-sensitive challenges.
Slow Yukong will require her to go last in the team but also requires your DPS and Flex characters to be the first two units in the turn order. The advantage of this is needing fewer Speed stats on Yukong, letting you invest more into damage dealing stats instead.
The main issue of Yukong is how dependent her buffs are on her Skill's uptime. We highly recommend going with an SP-neutral attack rotation, alternating between her Skill and Basic Attack.
This will let you maintain SP regen at an even level while also not negatively impacting her energy regeneration.
Trace | Priority & Explanation |
---|---|
Basic Attack | ★★☆☆☆ - Low Priority Upgrading this trace only increases her Basic Attack damage. This should be the last Trace leveled up. |
Skill | ★★★★★ - Highest Priority Improving Yukong's Skill increases ATK% she provides. |
Ultimate | ★★★★★ - Highest Priority Improving Yukong's Ultimate increases the CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG she provides. It also increases the damage dealt. |
Talent | ★★★☆☆ - Mid Priority Improves Yukong's Basic Attack damage and its damage to the Toughness bar of enemies with Imaginary Weaknesses. |
Why We Recommend It | |
---|---|
E2 | ★★★★★ - Great Great Eidolon that significantly helps Yukong's Energy Regeneration rate, which is useful for spamming her Ultimate. |
E4 | ★★★★☆ - Good Generally improves her damage dealt from all sources. |
E6 | ★★★★☆ - Good Essentially removes the requirement of needing to have Roaring Bowstrings active before using her Ultimate. |
