Self-Modeling Resin is a consumable that can be used to change the main stat of a 5 Star Relic before crafting it through the Omni-Synthesizer. Be aware that you can't change the main stat of Head and Hands since they only have 1 main stat available! You also can't change the main stat of Relics you already have!
Note that you unlock the Relics tab in the Omni-Synthesizer once you hit Trailblaze Level 40!
How to Increase Your Trailblaze Level Fast

You can get one Self-Modeling Resin by leveling up the free track of the Battle Pass to level 20 and another one by leveling up the paid track of the Battle Pass to level 50.

The Version 3.3 Update Radio recently announced a few upcoming changes to the game. One of these changes is the merging of Wishful Resin with Self-Modeling Resin.
From Version 3.5 onwards, players will only need to use the Self-Modeling Resin to set both the Main and Subsidiary Stats of Relics when creating them. It is also stated that the quantity of the Resins consumed is not changed.
This implies that it will still cost a minimum of one Self-Modeling Resin when crafting a Relic with a customized Main Stat and a maximum of five Self-Modeling Resins when also customizing two Subsidiary Stats.
All held Wishful Resins will be converted at a 1:1 ratio. All sources of Wishful Resin will also be changed to provide Self-Modeling Resin instead when the update goes live.
