We believe the only meta defining heroes from this batch are Summer Shez (F) and Legendary Guinivere.
Summer Shez (F)'s main strength is from the combination of Surfer's Spire, her exclusive weapon that attacks twice, deals true damage based on Spd, and has Canto, and Swift Slice, her exclusive A skill that grants effective damage against all weapon types. Attacking twice, and up to four times, with both effective and true damage, will leave a huge dent onto sturdy tanks or even outright defeat them.
Legendary Guinivere is a sturdy magic wall highly specializing in defeating mages with her Radiant Aureola, which deals effective damage against tome users and has built-in true damage and true damage reduction based on her Res.

It is currently a Water Season month and these are the heroes we expect to see the most in Arena aside from the usual suspects like Valentine's Chrom and other metagame relevant duo heroes.
Legendary Guinivere is the current bonus Legendary unit. She is a fantastic unit against mages with her Radiant Aureola granting effective damage against tomes, true damage, and true damage reduction based on her Res. She also has high base Res to maximize her weapon's potential.
Legendary Azura has an improved refresh skill in Gray Waves II which grants an extra action, bonus movement, and 【Null Panic】 to ensure that the bonuses from refined Prayer Wheel stick. She makes AI prediction difficult as well.
Legendary Ninian is a three move refresher unit who can grant herself an extra action after she uses her exclusive assist Dragon's Dance. She also has a nice offensive stat line that can get the job done when facing any non-red foes.
Summer Shez (F) is the most dangerous unit to face in combat among the current bonus units. The combination of Surfer's Spire and Swift Slice allows her to delete almost any enemy she faces in combat with quad effective damage attacks.
Legendary Guinivere has terrible physical bulk and this is heavily exploitable. Attacking her with physical damage is likely to defeat her in one round even through her true damage reduction. Additionally, she does not hit as hard as most modern units if facing enemies who do not wield tomes.
Legendary Azura is countered by keeping your units away from extended ranges where an enemy refreshed with Gray Waves II can reach. You can then attack stragglers one by one, leaving Azura last for your bonus unit to defeat.
Legendary Ninian only gets her extra action after Dragon's Dance starting on turn two, and then it goes on a three turn cooldown that cannot be cleansed off by debuff-neutralizing effects like Restore+ or Odd Recovery 3. This can be exploited by killing off the first unit she refreshes on turn one, and then baiting her in to attack on turn two.
Summer Shez (F) can defeat most enemies in one round of attacks, but her bulk is lackluster. She also does not have any effects that reduce incoming damage. Wait for her to approach your team and then defeat her in player phase with an offensive unit of your own.

The Aether Raids meta has changed a bit with the recent hero and skill additions. Offense now has Wings of Mercy 4 from last month's Legendary Hinoka to improve upon Galeforce compositions, making them even easier to pilot. For this month's new content, Null C-Disrupt 4 makes Omnitank units as well as Magic Tank + Near Save partner compositions more competitive against Defense teams fielding Staff units such as Valentine's Elise or Fallen Maria.
The Aether Raids Defense metagame remains unchanged since our last update.
Embla still warps Light/Dark season by being the Mythic to prepare multiple teams for.
Her exclusive C skill Severance inflicts 【Undefended】 and 【Feud】 on all foes within 3 columns or 3 rows centered on Embla at the start of the turn, shutting off Savior skills and rendering supports useless.
Players have begun fielding two Emblas, with one in column 2 and the other in column 5. This setup inflicts 【Undefended】 and 【Feud】 onto all six columns, effectively shutting down Save balls from the start.
Cavlines have been the main teammates of an Embla composition, with their extended range allowing instant offense on turn one. With the Emblas shutting off support and Savior, the Cavalry units have no trouble picking off the weaker members of raiding parties.
Heiðr is an offensive Astra Mythic hero that excels in offensive strategies and is functional against others with her own supportive skills.
Her exclusive Rally assist Gold Serpent grants bonuses to herself and target ally depending on which turn it currently is. At first, she only grants an Atk/Spd bonus, but as turns pass by, her bonuses include 【Canto (1)】, 【Treachery】, and 【Dual Strike】.
Her exclusive tome Heiðr also inflicts stat penalties and 【Guard】 on enemies in cardinal directions upon using Gold Serpent, while also being a strong offensive option in a pinch.
Legendary Guinivere is a fantastic option against Defense teams leaning heavily towards magic damage such as Cavlines with her Radiant Aureola granting effective damage against tomes, true damage, and true damage reduction based on her Res.
Pairing Legendary Guinivere with a sturdy Near Save unit is preferred to protect her from physical damage. This combination will require significant investment and multiple units to defeat.
Summer Edelgard remains a staple for Galeforce and Player Phase teams to abuse. Even with just her base kit, she can engage and defeat multiple enemies. By inheriting Galeforce onto her, she can clear up to three foes in one turn!
Summoners have also equipped recoil skills such as Fury 4 onto Summer Edelgard to use her as a beacon unit on Wings of Mercy teams. Summer Edelgard can potentially clear up to three enemies in one turn, allowing her allies to warp in and clean up afterwards.
Summer Edelgard's re-run on the recent Summer Vacation banner allows summoners who missed out on her initial release to acquire a copy of her.
Embla shuts down Savior balls, and is often fielded on a Cavline team. These teams have powerful offensive options, but they all lack bulk.
Ensure you field an offensive raiding party in Light season such as Galeforce or Hit and Run. Using these teams, you can pick off most of the enemy units on turn one and then either retreat or unit block the remaining enemies in order to collect Aether resources on future turns.
Summer Edelgard is an amazing unit to field against Embla Cavlines, with her ability to act up to three times in one turn with Raging Storm and Galeforce. Equip self-recoil skills like Fury on her A and Sacred Seal slots, and bring a handful of units that can act multiple times in one turn with Wings of Mercy 3 equipped in order to sweep the map and keep your units safe.
Alternatively, a Vantage strategy can be fielded against these teams in order to prevent knockouts on any of your raiding party units.
Use a unit with high Atk, equip Vantage 3 or similar skills onto them, and move them forward. If using Vantage, ensure that they are under the HP threshold and that none of the enemy units can bypass it through the use of Hardy Bearing or sweep effects.
Finally, consider bringing an Omnitank unit and move them forward into the line of fire. This unit should be incredibly self-sufficient and capable of withstanding multiple attacks from different foes.
Heiðr's Gold Serpent only gets the best effects on later turns. Fielding an aggressive Defense team such as a Cavline prevents Heiðr from granting the useful effects to her allies due to the lack of time provided before the raiding party is in danger.
Legendary Guinivere's physical bulk is severely lacking. She will most often be fielded by units with Near Save to protect her against melee physical attackers. To counter this, field a ranged physical attacker to bypass Near Save and attack her weaker Def stat.
Summer Edelgard can be mitigated by fielding a sturdy Near Save unit on your Defense team with a 【Guard】 effect. This will make it more difficult for her to trigger Galeforce by both slowing down her Special charges and surviving her initial attack.
