| What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Reduces the power of area damaging specials ・Triangle advantage against colorless foes ・Can counterattack from any range |
Might: 16 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Effective against dragon foes. Grants weapon- triangle advantage against colorless foes, and inflicts weapon-triangle disadvantage on colorless foes during combat. Reduces damage from area-of-effect Specials by 80% (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials). If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
Nagi's best IVs are +Atk and -Spd. Ethereal Breath is effective on dragons and gives triangle advantage against colorless foes, so having a higher stat will increase her overally effectiveness with taking out these foes. On the other hand, her low Spd stat should be used as her dump stat.

For this budget build, Dragon Valor is replaced by the cheap Threaten Res 3 to allow Nagi to deal more damage to her foes. Her allies can also take advantage of this debuff. Quick Riposte 3 allows her to score follow-up attacks in the enemy phase and that works well with Distant Counter.
This is very similar to the budget build listed, but it uses Aether instead of Sol. It also uses the more expensive, and a lot more rare Threat. Atk/Res 3. You can also use a Save skill if you can afford it.
A build that uses the very powerful Dragon Wall 3 on Nagi. Losing Special Fighter 3 is bad, but the point of this build is to maximize sustain and bulk. To make good use of this bulk A/R Far Save 3 is taken to allow her to protect her allies.
| Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |
|---|---|
| SP: 400 | |
| Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: 3 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Effective against dragon foes. Grants weapon-triangle advantage against colorless foes, and inflicts weapon-triangle disadvantage on colorless foes during combat. Reduces damage from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by 80%. At start of combat, if unit's HP > 25%, inflicts Atk/Res-5 on foe during combat and when unit deals damage to foe during combat, restores 7 HP to unit (triggers even if 0 damage is dealt). If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, inflicts Atk/Res-5 on foe and neutralizes unit's penalties to Def/Res during combat, and also, if unit's Res > foe's Res, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage difference between Res stats x 4 (max 40%). |
The new special effect refine for Ethereal Breath allows Nagi to hit enemies harder with the additional Atk/Res-5 debuff on enemies. It also grants her damage reduction on enemy-phase turns which greatly improves her role as a tank unit.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Nagi is a close magic attacker. Therefore, the damage she deals is equal to her Atk minus the foe's Res when the effects of the weapon triangle are not considered.
Nagi's exclusive weapon skill Ethereal Breath has multiple effects. For one, it gives her Triangle Advantage over colorless foes, which makes her very good against these units who often have no weaknesses. On top of that, it is effective on dragon foes, meaning that she can absolutely destroy enemies like Fallen Tiki or Fallen Corrin.
This weapon also speeds up her special cooldown, and when combined with Special Fighter, she will be able to trigger a 3-count special skill when counterattacking a foe who initiated combat. She can also reduce the damage from area-of-effect specials y 80%, which means she can greatly reduce the threat of foes like Ophelia with powerful area damaging specials.
By default, Nagi has the excellent A skill Distant Counter, which lets her counterattack both close and ranged foes. As long as the foe does not have a skill that prevents counterattacks, Nagi can counter any foe and deal tons of damage in the enemy phase.
Nagi's C skill Dragon Valor will allow all dragon members on the same party to gain 2x SP. This will make building your other dragon units and learning their skills extremely quick and painless. If done on the weekends where a 2x SP multiplier is already in effect, or when a unit is receiving some kind of 2x bonus from an event or blessing, these bonuses stack, which will allow dragons to gain a ton of SP in no time.
As an armored unit, Nagi is susceptible to heavy damage from weapons like Armorslayer and Hammer+, which are effective on armored units. Be sure and keep an eye on what type of weapons your opponents are using.
In addition to being weak to armored effective weapons, Nagi takes heavy damage to weapons like Falchion, which are effective on dragons. Be sure and watch out for anti-dragon units on the enemy team.

Nagi can be used to get the skills Distant Counter and Special Fighter. Special Fighter 1-3 and Distant Counter can all be inherited simultaneously, so if you do decide to fodder her off, we recommend giving her skills to an armored unit.
Nagi is a Hero who can be pulled from any summon.

No way nagi should still be a 9.0. maybe 8.0, but not more, IMO. Y'all should have a spreadsheet for all these ratings, so that when u do the reevaluating a couple times every year, u can just automatically move everyone down a peg, then manually just move the ones back up who warrant it. That would be more efficient than manually having to go back & move 900+ heroes down, cuz i know y'all don't have enough time to do that. Or, u could accept reader suggestions or edits...
