Neutral IVs by default!

As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Brunnya will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.

+Atk/-Def

The best IVs for Brunnya are +Atk and -Def. A +Atk IV is best for her as she wants to deal as much damage as possible. With this IV, the range of units she can take out with one hit will increase. Her Def is of less importance so it is safe to take it as her bane.

+Atk for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Brunnya to 10. At +10 Merges, Brunnya will hit 54 Atk, which will further increase her one-shot potential.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a build designed to give Brunnya the most points in Arena. B Duel Infantry will improve her scoring. If you don't have Ruptured Sky, you can opt for either Blue Flame or Aether to maximize scoring. If you opt for Blue Flame, you will need to replace her Sacred Seal with Spd/Res Bond 3.

Brunnya is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Brunnya Strengths

Soak and Neutralize Debuffs with Fimbulvetr!

Brunnya's weapon and Death Blow give her massive buffs!

Fimbulvetr checks if penalties are active on Brunnya then neutralizes them. It also grants her Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 if she has a penalty or if her HP > 100%.

This makes her a good soak unit for debuffs like Chill Res 3 or Chill Atk 3.

This way, your allies will be safe from debuffs as Brunnya can basically make them useless. Fimbulvetr makes her very viable in Aether Raids as there are lots of debuffs in Aether Raid maps.

Death Blow 3 is a strong attack-phase skill

Brunnya has access to the skill Death Blow 3 which grants her Atk+6 everytime she initiates combat. This makes her a powerful player phase unit. Take note that this does not work in the enemy phase.

Low Def

Brunnya's Def only sits at 21 at Lv.40. This makes it easy for physical units to take her out. Be mindful of Brunnya's positioning in relation to physical units that can easily take her out.

Obtained as a Reward in Tempest Trials

Brunnya is a limited time Hero who can be obtained as a reward for your score in the Tempest Trials. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.
