+Spd / -Def

The best IVs for Dorothy are +Spd and -Def. Dorothy's Spd stat is quite high at base 43 (base 47 with a superboon), and increasing it should allow her to keep up with faster metagame units. This should also be further boosted by refining her weapon with a Spd refine.

Her Def is below average at only base 25 and is a good choice for a bane, as lowering it further will not impact any of her matchups.

+Spd for a +10 merge

We recommend +Spd when merging up Dorothy to +10 in order to have her keep up with the fastest units in the game. +Atk is also an option if you prefer higher damage output instead.

Dorothy is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Dorothy Strengths

Defier's Bow+ greatly improves Def

Dorothy's inheritable weapon Defier's Bow+ creates a 10 point Def swing by boosting Dorothy's Def by 5 and reducing her foe's Def by 5.

It also steals any visible Def bonus her foe has, and grants an equal in-combat bonus to Dorothy.

This effect allows Dorothy to soften up her foes before attacking, maximizing her damage output.
