When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd / -Res

The best IVs for Noah are +Spd and -Res. Spd boosts his already high Spd, allowing him to keep up with all the fast metagame units. As a fast unit, Noah needs every bit of investment in his Spd to maximize his potential, especially with his Ilian Merc Lance granting 【Dodge】.

His Res is a clear dump stat at only base 18 and is the easy bane of choice.

+Spd for a +10 merge

We recommend +Spd when merging up Noah to +10 for similar reasons above. Spd is his most important stat and needs to be invested in order to keep up with all the fast metagame units.

Noah is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Noah's Ilian Merc Lance grants 【Dodge】 and neutralizes foe's bonuses during combat to himself and his support partner if they are close to Noah at the start of the turn.

It also grants Noah Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 and true damage equal to 15% of his Atk to boost his nuking power in combat.

Abysmal Res

Noah's base Res is pitifully low at only base 18. Any halfway decent magical attacker should be able to defeat him in one combat.

Keep Noah away from enemies that deal magic damage in order for him to survive in combat.

Weak to Cavalry Effective Weapons

Noah takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
