When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd/-HP

The best IVs for Tanya are +Spd and -HP. She will reach a Spd stat of 40 with this IV making it quite easy for her to score follow-up attacks if supported by allies. It also makes her less susceptible to follow-up attacks from enemies. Her HP is of less importance so it is safe to take as a bane.

+Atk for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Tanya to 10. At +10 Merges, Tanya's Spd will reach fair levels that when supported, can easily score on a lot of enemy units. At this point, it would be better to opt with a +Atk IV instead to help her deal more damage. You can still go for a Spd IV if you prefer and at that point, she will reach a fair 44 Spd.

Tanya is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Weapon grants pure damage and speeds-up special cooldown

Shining Bow+ gives her +7 pure damage when a foe's Def is significantly higher than their Res. This allows her to do a decent chunk of damage even on foes with high Def. Choose the right targets for Tanya to make the most out of her.

Tanya Weaknesses

Low Damage

Tanya heavily relies on Shining Bow's effects and her Spd for follow-up attacks to deal damage instead of directly relying on Atk. This makes it hard for her to deal significant chunks of damage in some circumstances especially if she can not score a follow-up attack. If you plan to use Tanya in the long run, inherit more powerful skills onto her especially a good special. This will make her offensively viable in the current.
