| 3/2/2026 | Kayron is bumped to the S tier due to his capability to perform well with his new support interaction with Tiphera. He's no longer forced to rely on an Ego Skill to clean the team's deck from futilities, he can now use futilities themselves as a draw engine from Tiphera and her creation cards. Without Tiphera however, Kayron is still an extremely AP hungry combatant to play. Cassius after further tests, we move Cassius to S tier as he's still a reliable support to bring in a team. He still synergizes well with 0-cost card combatants and is still a potent combatant, specially in chaos where he doesn't need hyper synergies anymore due to the increased upfront benefits of his quest cards. Lastly, he's still the same combatant that can provide healing, morale, debuffs, and card draw for the team. Owen is bumped up to A tier by utilizing the Residual Herb and being played as a support puts Owen in a viable spot as an OTK support for content that calls for it such as Nebula Distortion. This interaction still requires a decent divine epiphany on Residual Herb which is an exhaust card which makes it unfit for longer form content which cements his place as an A tier combatant. |
| 2/25/2026 | Tiphera is initially released on the S tier tentatively. She has extremely strong strengths such as AP generation and multiplicative damage buffs on a single hit but together with this, her card set are riddled with RnG and several restrictiveness which makes her an inflexibile teammate. She shines extremely well in the ideal scenario but requires a lot of setups for the most part. We're still testing more possible interactions so stay tuned for a finalized tier update together with some tier movement to some combatants she works with (eg, Kayron). |
| 2/9/2026 | C Tier is removed as the game's balance and power is now more tightly closed (infinite loop removals). SS tier combatants are now reserved for the combatants that truly shines in the meta and the B tier for struggling combatants but are still playable with the right setup. Nine Moved from S to SS. With further testing, especially with her Extreme version of Hew and other combos surrounding it, we have placed her from S to SS. She works extremely well with the current season's mechanics and its focus on one big hit. When she is partnered with other multiplicative buffs and her already absurdly high multipliers, Nine demolishes most content with ease. Renoa Moved from S to A. With the nerf to Dimensional Cube as well as the Forbidden Card: Eternal Hunger, Renoa's main source of combos and buffs have been reduced. She now suffers from card cycling, AP recovery, and lack of discard support alongside not working well with the 2nd season's spore mechanics. Haru Moved from A to S. She's creeping towards SS territory but she requires a lot more setup to reach the damage numbers of the SS-tier. However, with the buffs to Anchor Shot now having a maximum of 10 limit, a higher base damage and stack multiplier plus her synergy with Narja turning her Anchor Shot to 0 cost for the whole turn, she's now able to hit for a lot of massive damage in a single turn which she can't even possibly reach during her initial release. Magna Moved from B to A. With the removal of C tier as all combatants have reached a playable state, Magna makes her way to the A tier as she has a clear niche she can accomplish in Season 2. Her vulnerable stacking pairs well with the current playstyle of stacking damage multipliers. Equipment that favors multiplicative buffs which makes Magna a solid combatant that fits right in with specific team compositions. Kayron Moved from S to A. The game has slowed down with the removal of card draw synergies and focusing more on exhausting cards. Despite being an exhaust focused combatant, Kayron doesn't get the real resource he needs from the current season which pushes him down a tier lower. Orlea Moved from B to SS. Orlea is one of the biggest winners of this season as they increased her healing output, her potentials and even her starting cards got reworked to fit a controller's sustain playstyle. Aside from stronger healing, she can easily stack vulnerable to amplify the team's damage and capitalize on Season 2's exhaust cards to create a loop that can stack a lot of multiplicative damage buffs to one-shot Nebula Distortion bosses. As a side bonus, she also benefits from the new 4-piece set to make the entire team stronger. Mika Moved from SS to S. Mika has been the de facto healer of the game as well as the first AP battery to provide all the needs of every team. Now, more AP manipulation method has made its way to the game including Chizuru's inhibit, Narja's cost reductions, and even new neutral cards that can thin out decks while reducing card costs. Mika is still one of the best supports if you're looking for sustain and AP but as the meta shakes up and the new necrosis effect that prevents healing against distortion bosses, Mika moves a tier down in favor of other supports that can still shine while providing the value she can give with no drawbacks. Maribell Moved from C to B. Maribell got some damage buffs to her cards but they're not enough to push her at the top of the tier alongside other Vanguards. She still lacks the utility that other vanguards can provide, which were already few in the first place, while being an AP and card draw negative combatant. She's a bit more playable now especially with the counter attack buffs and the counterattack gear and vanguard-specific equipment in Burning Life but they're not enough to warrant playing Maribell over existing Vanguards in the game. On the brighter side, shield stacking is much easier now with more shield gain card options so her damage cap with Shelter Strike combos are now way stronger. Beryl Moved from S to SS. Beryl was already a strong combatant with her Opening Found upgrade build that lets her deal massive amounts of extra attack damage. Now in Season 2, she got more tools to play with that expanded her possible builds and roles in a lot of teams. She can capitalize Contaminated Spores with Guity Pleasure, she can play the standard Opening Found upgrade setup with more focus on upgrade cards as she can activate her Opening Found retain requirement using the spore cards, she can be built as a one-shot combatant with spores, or even just a support combatant to stack up spore debuffs on enemies. Cassius Moved from SS to A. Despite the rework and the removal of his infinite loops, Cassius can still be played with his previous playstyle of stacking up quest cards albeit only 3 times per turn. He can still generate quest cards from combatants that utilize multiple attacks and can even obtain a stronger effect immediately while providing sustain. He won't be able to provide the team infinite morale stacks or infinite triple 0 stacking but if you're looking for a card cycler with sustain, buffs, and debuffs, Cassius is still a worthy combatant to consider. Narja Moved from A to SS. Narja can fit in so many teams, she can work with several combatants easily. Her being able to provide sustain passively and without being affected by Necrosis, Narja is currently the best support to consider having in this season. Amir Moved from B to A. With Nebula Distortion's return and Narja's presence, Amir is one of the combatants you can consider bringing if you need a DPS that can also function as a defensive combatant. However, unlike most meta DPS that can easily stand alone, Amir is dependent on specific setups to be able to compete with other strong combatants which places her in the A tier but we are watching her performace carefully, especially in a defense-focused season. Nia Moved from S to A. With Eternal Hunger being phased out of season 2 content and Dimensional Cube now having a 3 discard buff limit, Nia's buffs is not enough to compensate for the utility she lost from season 1. She also doesn't synergize nor have the ability to capitalize on the existing season 2 cards and mechanics which makes it difficult to choose her over other supports this season. Tressa Moved from SS to B. Tressa's entire kit has been reworked to focus on stacking Agony much more slowly in favor of getting higher damage output by utilizing said agony with her advanced shadow dagger and Cursed Gouge. However, due to her slow agony stacking with her cards and Cursed Gouge not working with Agony from other combatants, Tressa's been difficult to utilize this season. With the season favoring OTK setups, Tressa and her shadow dagger kit fails to find a solid spot to play at this season. |
| 2/5/2026 | Nine is added to the tier list and into the S Tier due to her synergy with most content of Season 2. She has a flexible build and can fit into many types of content be it a battle of attrition, a DPS-focused content, and can beat single-target rounds and AoE rounds alike. |
| 1/14/2026 | Narjais tentatively added to the A tier. She's an extremely helpful combatant for Chaos runs due to her 4 unique card with her unique card meal time being a default card instead of an epiphany choice. This makes her one of the best supports to bring on Chaos Runs to build a save data. However, her current team flexibility is limited while also being coupled with card draw restrictions which makes her unfit for many team comp and a well built team to make her function. She performs extremely well on the righr teams but is lackluster as a controller if slotted in without planning for other teams. Amir is moved up to B tier. She found a new support which is Narja that lets her output some decent damage as a DPS-focused vanguard. This still makes her a subpar option compared to the multitude of DPS units in the game but it is a setup that can work and thus, the slighr bump up in the tier list. Nia S tier after Narja's placement and her Eternal Hunger placement, she's more flexible once the build is setup but obtaining a well-built Eternal Hunger deck for her will still be a difficult task, especially now with Laboratory 0 being a non-seasonal zone. However, she does perform much better than Narja as a general support with this build hence the bump up in tier. |
| 12/25/2025 | Sereniel is moved up from S tier to SS tier after further tests. Her flexibility for team building makes her a great all around DPS. She can easily be paired with morale stackers for massive damage, on-hit triggers such as Hugo's Commence the Hunt and Chizuru's Will-o-Wisp stacking makes her ideal combatant option for a dual DPS team and she also fits the current meta where using multiple low-cost cards is highly valued. She's extremely AP efficient as well which frees up your other team's options to include AP generators such as Mika. |
| 12/24/2025 | Sereniel is tentatively placed in the S tier from initial play tests and epiphany exploration. |
| 12/4/2025 | Chizuru is placed on the S Tier. She's a strong unit that have a very accessible access to additional multi-hits with high damage multipliers. She does however, require a much more restrictive team setup due to her inhibit mechanic but despite the AP restrictoins, her capabilities are definitely comparable to the best DPS units in the game. ↑ Renoa is bumped to S Tier. She's always been a strong void DPS and even had unique synergies with certain ego skills like Nia. However, all this time, her bullet damage from her potential skills were not working and her damage numbers definitely rose up in value ↑ Luke Moved up from B to S. We definitely slept on Luke due to his limited gameplay options during the early stages of the game but as most optimal stats from fragments and epiphany combo testings, Luke definitely does have the capability to compete with the best DPS units in the game. ↑ Beryl found her way to S tier after further testing with different epiphany and build setups. With her Opening Found upgrade and retain playstyle, she has the bullets to compete with high tier DPS units but she does take some time to ramp up depending on your opening found copies and card cycling speed but once she does, her damage definitely skyrockets in value. She's also flexible as a support with card cycling and permanent buffs with the righr epiphanies which makes her a great unit to have overall. ↑ Lucas bumped from C to B. He still falls flat compared to other units but he definitely performs better than the current C tier units so we're bumping him to B. ↑ Cassius has shown again and again that he's one of the best card cyclers in the game together with Veronica. He works well with combo-centric compositions like Tressa. Aside from card cycling, Cassius can also provide great damage potentials with the righr composition while also providing insane amounts of buffs and debuffs. ↑ Nia We still think Nia is underwhelming compared to other controllers in the game. She has a weaker card cycling potential than cassius, weaker healing than Mika, and minimal damage bonuses from Decibel. However, she can provide these benefits still while also working with discard synergies such as Renoa's dirge bullets so we're bumping her to A as she can be a great unit in the righr composition and build. ↑ Tressa is bumped to SS tier. Not only is she great as a main DPS with her insane heal synergy and agony stacking, she also works well with multiple team comps as either its main DPS or a sub DPS. She also easily enables any team composition to activate the Cursed Corpse set for bonus damage against agony units. ↓ Haru as we further test multiple epiphany combos as well as community discoveries rose, 0 card cycling and card usage is the most optimal way to output damage in the game and Haru's Anchor Shot gameplay definitely doesn't fit this niche. She's still an incredibly strong DPS but she definitely falls short compared to other DPS units with near unlimited damage potentials even with the most optimal setups. ↓ Khalipe has been moved down from SS to S. She's a strong defense-based unit that can easily output a huge amount of AoE damage via celestial effects and Silver Veil but most AoE content in the game righr now doesn't fit her. She's still a blast to bring on Chaos zones with the righr comp but she just can't compete with the highest tier DPS units with the current Dimensional Twilighr, Nebula Distortion, and the new Great Rift content. ↓ Magna moved down from A to B. Despite the changes to the counterattack mechanic during the December 3 patch update, Magna still falls flat compared to other DPS and Support units. She can still constantly output vulnerable debuffs and can work with big hitting DPS but there definitely are better support and DPS options in the game righr now. ↓ Maribell moved down from B to C tier. Similar to Magna, her counterattack and defensive playstyle definitely doesn't fit any game mode. |
| 11/17/2025 | Finished Yuki's evaluation, she'll stay at A-tier ↑ Mei Lin is now the top of the SS tier as she dominate the single-target damage category with ease. ↑ Veronica joins the SS tier as her utility and damage in every team composition is performing more than expected. ↑ Haru moves up to S tier after more testing and clarification of the save data mechanics. ↑ Hugo climbs to S tier because of his performance with another character capable of dishing out almost the same single-target damage as Mei Lin. ↑ Tressa bumped up to S tier as she enables a lot of combos with her 0-cost Shadow Daggers and stacking high amounts of agony stacks. ↑ Beryl nudges to the top of A tier as she is a perfectly viable substitute for a Justice damage type DPS if you don't have Haru or a draw sub-DPS. ↑ Nia rises up to B tier as her usefulness widens to not only Renoa but extends to Yuki too. ↓ Khalipe loses her top placement but still retain her SS tier rank because of the huge emphasize on clearing fighrs as fast as possible. ↓ Selena goes down to A tier as further testing shows that her kit relies heavily on another Passion character ↓ Lucas falls to C tier as further testing shows that his AoE damage is hindered by his costly bullet cards that is resolved only if you max out his Manifest Ego. |
| 11/13/2025 | Added Yuki in A-tier after initial testings. |
| 11/6/2025 | ↑ Owen is bumped up to B tier due to found synergies with certain team comps as a sub-DPS. ↑ Rei is now also S tier after further testing with certain epiphany combos and interactions with combatants that utilize buffs well into their kit. ↑ Beryl bumped to A after further testing with a low investment retain playstyle allowing her to function well both as a main DPS and sub DPS. ↑ Hugo is now A tier, placed initially too low compared to the amount of DPS he can output even with minimal investment. ↑ Rin is now A tier after further testing with potential levels and certain multi-hit epiphanies and AP efficient combo rotations. ↑ Veronica is now S tier as she can perform extremely well both as a main DPS with multi Ballista procs thanks to Owen's wind charge interaction as well as a sub DPS thanks to her immense card draw power. |
| 10/27/2025 | ↑ Khalipe is bumped up to SS tier as the best shielder and AoE DPS. ↑ Mika is now also SS tier due to her synergy with majority of team compositions for AP sustain. ↑ Mei Lin bumped up to SS tier for her high damage output and Passion weakness applications. ↑ Cassius is now S tier as being one of the best and only Card Manipulators in the game. ↑ Orlea is now B tier for her versatility between damage buffs, shields, and passive healing with her 0-cost Retain cards. ↓ Owen is now C tier due to his lack of damage compared to other DPS characters. ↓ Rei is now A tier for her short damage buffs yet works well with a variety of team compositions. ↓ Rin is now B tier for her setup difficulty and lack of damage output. |
| 10/25/2025 | ↑ Mika is now high S tier due to her being viable in most team comps. ↑ Rei is now on lower S tier for her damage-buffing capabilities. ↓ Cassius is broughr down to A tier due to his setup difficulty. ↑ Tressa has been bumped to high A due to her strength in applying DoT for high damage. ↑ Haru has also been bumped up to high A, since she's a capable nuker. ↓ Rin has been placed from S to A due to her limited synergy to the other characters. ↓ Hugo has been placed in B tier due to his low Commence the Hunt damage. ↓ Beryl has also been placed in B tier due to her lack of AoE attacks. ↓ Maribell has been placed from A to B due to Magna being a better alternative. ↓ Nia has been placed in the new C tier due to her underwhelming kit and Decibel mechanic. ↓ Amir has also been placed in the new C tier, since her Metalization has underwhelming damage. ↓ Orlea has also been placed in the new C tier, since her kit caters to a few units in the current version. |
| 10/23/2025 | ↑ Bumped up Rin to S tier due to her 0-cost cards. ↓ Haru is now low A tier due to her high AP usage. ↓ Nia is also broughr down due to her recent rework. ↑ Orlea is also bumped up to low A tier as well for her damage potential. ↑ Mika is now low S tier due to her synergy with majority of team compositions. |
| 10/21/2025 | Created release day Tier List (October 2025). |
The tierlist has been revamped to reflect the game's changes. Season 2 cards are heavily focused on spores, exhaust, and ramping up a single attack's damage output. Forbidden Cards are also out of season 2 which means combatants that relied on certain forbidden cards took a massive hit in the tier list.
On the flip side, combatants that love to use retain cards from spores or ramp up damage in one go has rosen up in the tier list. On top of all the season 2 mechanics, this season also targeted several combatants for readjustments and buffs which shook the entire tier list's ranking.

|---|---|
|
Nine is a heavy hitter that relies on exhaust and the new mechanic Ignition to obtain a rotating card that reaches higher levels of damage per use until it resets to its starting base card. |
Mei Lin is the best single-target DPS for Passion-focused teams since she can reliantly apply Passion weakness to enemies and deal Tenacity damage to gain more AP. Tiphera is a strong next hit damage buffer coupled with an insane amount of AP generation, perhaps even greater than all the existing combatant roster. She juggles her creation card and divides it between your hand and the draw/discard pile and must utilize secondary cards to re-obtain them for high value for the team. ►Tiphera Best Team and Build |
|
Mika is a free-to-play pure Support character that focuses entirely on healing your team and gaining AP. She is an excellent support that synergizes well with most of the team compositions. ► Mika Best Team and Build |
|
Rin is a selfish single-target DPS character who shines as a solo DPS on her team. She's an AP neutral DPS which makes her a bit hard to slot in with other supports as she synergizes really well with damage buffs due to her multi-hit epiphanies but loses tempo when someone uses an attack card. ► Rin Best Team and Build |

He is capable of dealing high AoE Damage and utilizes the Exhaust mechanic with cards, which can grow strong the longer the fighr goes on. ► Kayron Best Team and Build |
|

Nine like all the other top scoreboard contenders before her will either have her own mechanic disabled in hard content like ToS or will be nerfed to death like Tressa. Not to mention spores are what props her up not even her own cards. Renoa places a bit higher than most of the void crew since hyper burst damage and general low actions needed on turns is a niche no one else really pulls off. Assuming we get more Judas type bosses she is a hard counter.
