Build Note
Residual Herb should house either an AP Divine Epiphany or a Draw 1 Divine Epiphany depending on what your team needs the most. Alternatively, prioritize getting duplicates of Residual Herbs, otherwise, duplicate more Break Armor if you can obtain more herbs via shop purchase.

With the addition of Residual Herb to the game and more epiphany setups, Owen is finding more success in season 2 as a support striker rather than a dedicated DPS. This is due to the Herb's class restriction to strikers and vanguards while Owen can also provide team bonuses such as extra hits and fortitude reduction which is equivalent to 4 morale's worth of damage.

His best memory fragment set with this build is the Glory's reign set as Owen can reliably activate the set's full effect with a single neutral card copy which will strengthen the whole team by providing 15% multiplicative damage.

Mei Lin	Rei

Owen's best team is Mei Lin for the team's DPS and Rei as the second support. Mei Lin works extremely well with Owen's repeated card use and single target damage buff via negative fortitude. He can also increase Mei Lin's Dragon Spire combo easily with Herb's use stacking + its spore left over to create devastating combos. Rei's role is to further provide additive damage to the team with Morale and support the team's card cycling with her card draws.

Character	Explanation
Nine	Can replace Mei Lin as the DPS. This setup requires tweaking Owen's Wind Charge epiphany to two to provide Nine double hit from her Hew card. Ideally timed with the highest level attack.
Veronica	Can replace Rei as another Support. She can provide more card draw and ballista damage but lacks damage buffs and healing. She has access to Precision Aim which can return a card back to the top of draw pile.
Hugo	Can replace Rei as another Support. Hugo's Commence the hunt can easily be stacked by Owen to allow Mei Lin to dish out multiple coordinated attacks. He also provides card draw which can ease the team's combos.
Cassius	Can replace Rei as another Support. Provides additional sustain, morale, and card draw. However, he's AP negative without the right epiphanies so tweaking his deck further with cost reduction/ap generation is highly recommended.

Mei Lin's gameplay is simple, she wants to draw all of her attack cards and Unity of Attack and Defense then start her basic attack combo into Rising Dragon spire after activating everything you can use from Owen and Rei to maximize each hit's damage from their additive damage bonuses (Morale and -Fortitude).

This setup focuses on OTK or One Turn Kill which is perfect for single round content against high difficulty enemies like Nebula Distortion. Consider your epiphany rolls and balance out AP gain/cost reduction and card draw with more emphasis on AP to use as much card as you can in a single turn.

Nyx's effects won't work on Owen as their type do not match. However, Owen's main purpose is to provide supportive effects to the team which none of the striker partners can provide. Nyx is the best option to obtain a card cycling ego skill that can potentially draw 4 cards for your team in case of a bad hand.

Glory's Reign Set is the main highlight of Owen's Memory Fragment as this is one of his main ways to provide damage boost to the team via exhausting his neutral cards. Healer's Journey is a great second set to push Owen's last potential node that provides defense to gain a little bit of everything. A decent alternative is Tetra's Authority to immediately gain the defense bonus set for additional survivability for the team.

The main stat and sub stats Owen needs are Void Damage, Critical Chance, Critical Damage and Attack. His last potential node needs at least 700 attack however, it is better to ignore it as you will need to sacrifice a few offensive just to reach it.

Owen's best equipment can only be found in Laboratory 0 with Mutant Predator Spike giving him 30% more multiplicative damage for all of his attacks as long as you have 4 or more cards in hand. Wings of Freedom for 10% more multiplicative damage each time your team gets hit up to 3 times. With this build, this is not that much but this is the best chaos zone for damage dealing characters.

Emblem of an Exceptional Entity is the best trinket slot for him as it has +30% additive damage to all of his attacks which is a lot due to how his low card multipliers but high hit count.

If you aren't able to get the best, you can settle for these equipment that some can be found in any chaos zones inside shops. Obsidian Sword to boost the overall damage of all his attacks by 12% multiplicatively. Incomplete Carapace for shield if you have 5 or more cards in hand at the end of turn which is easily achievable by him but can only be found in Laboratory 0 and Amorphous Cube gives a permanent +25% additive damage buff to all of his attacks.

If you have multiple Break Armor in hand, inflicting reduced fortitude to a single enemy can stack to each other enabling more additive damage from attacks.

Wind Riding Can Only Move Cards From the Discard Pile

If you have the Wind Riding epiphany that returns a card back to your hand, it can only move cards from the discard pile. When Owen's card is in the used card pile or in the draw pile, it will not move it to your hand.
