Arena Explained
Seasonal Dimensional Tunnel That Gives Refinement
You can enter the arena inside these marked unidentified areas during your chaos run. You can encounter up to 2 arenas in the same run, one for each floor. Unlike the previous Dimensional Tunnels, finishing an arena will put you in the same node where you entered.
Defeat Two Waves of Enemies to Win
In the arena, you will need to fight two waves of arena-exclusive enemies. When you finish the first wave, you will start over again for the second wave unlike other wave fights where buffs, debuffs and card effects carries over.
Obtain Temporary Arena Cards for Combat
As you go through the Arena, you may pick up arena cards, which can be obtained in combat provide additional effects and damage to the enemies to help you clear the arena faster.

Attack the Weapon Pile to Get Arena Cards
Inside the arena, a stationary enemy called the Weapon Pile will give you two arena cards if you manage to reduce its HP down to 10%. It will reset its health back once it reached that HP threshold so that you can get more arena cards from it.
Use Arena Cards on Enemies to Deal Triple Damage
Enemies inside the arena will take 200% more damage from arena cards, make sure to use those arena cards on the enemies to take them down quickly before they deal a lot of damage to you.

As you go through the arena and defeat enemies, you will encounter Refinement and God's Hammer. These are new mechanics that can provide powerful effects on your equipment.

How to Unlock Arena
Reach Captain Level 35
Chapter 1: Warriors of the Arena will unlock once you reach Captain Level 35. From there, progress through the story until you finish Chapter 1, #10.
Use Codices With Arenas
Upon completing Chapter 1 of the story, you will unlock the Burning Life Chaos Area. The Arenas can only be encountered inside the new chaos zone Burning Life or when using Codices tagged with Seed of Karmic Fire.
