Arena Explained
New Story Setting
The Arena is the setting for the new Season 2 story. The Director wakes up in a strange planet, and will encounter new characters, enemies, and areas!
Chaos Mechanic for Season 2
While exploring Chaos, you can path towards special Arena areas. These special areas can be identified by a circular icon next to an Unidentified Event.
Go Through Combat
The Arena itself has a linear layout, so aim to reach the other side and exit the Arena in glory. Along the way, you may encounter many new enemies, equipment, and Unidentified Areas.
Obtain Arena Equipment and Cards
As you go through the Arena, you may pick up Arena Equipment, which can be activated by certain conditions to provide additional effects. Some equipment also comes with Arena Cards, which may also be activated under specific conditions.
Use Arena Cards Whenever Possible
When you get Arena Cards, make sure to use them against enemies, as they will be more effective!

Refinement and God's Hammer
As you go through Arenas and defeat Bosses, you will encounter Refinement and God's Hammer. These are new mechanics that can provide powerful equipment.

How to Unlock Arena
Reach Captain Level 35
Chapter 1: Warriors of the Arena will unlock once you reach Captain Level 35. From there, progress through the story until you finish Chapter 1, #10.
Use Codices With Arenas
Upon completing Chapter 1 of the story, you will unlock the Burning Life Chaos Area. The Arenas can only be encountered when using Codices tagged with Seed of Karmic Fire.
