Veronica's best build focuses on giving the party 0-cost draw 2 cards with multiple copies of Repose and provides end of turn free damage with her ballistas. She can fit in any team that lacks card draw and the perfect character for chaos runs if you want to build a tailored save data with a character due to the abundance of unique cards in her deck.

She is best suited with the 2/2/2 set consisting of Black Wing, Tetra's Authority and Executioner's Tool to further enhance her ballista damage and shield gain. While her favored chaos zone is Laboratory 0 to get her best equipment such as W-52 Dopamine Ejector for multiplicative buffs. Fragment of the Empty Void to get a better hard on turn 1 and Superconductive Protein that reduces a card to 0 on battle start.

Mei Lin and Mika are the best team for Veronica. Her role in this party is to provide more passion cards to fuel Rising Dragon Spire while trying to get all of Mei Lin's cards using her draw and backing her up with Ballista damage.

Veronica's only job is to empower her one and only ballista every turn and draw for the other party members using Repose. She needs all of her cards as cheap as possible and everything else removed except cards that help her draw cards or reload.

Mei Lin needs to have epiphanies that helps fuel her Rising Dragon Spire to stack a lot of hits when a passion card is used. Just make sure that before you start doing it, Rising Dragon Spire is in your hand and Spirit of Aromata is played before everything else.

Mika only needs all the possible AP generation on her epiphanies to make sure that every card is played every turn. She also helps the team survive with her heals.

Rosaria is the best partner for Veronica as she can boost her extra attack damage and a chance to give her party more morale for every upgrade or skill card. Her ego skill is also a great way to have an emergency draw 1 card if you ever need it, just make sure that all of your upgrade cards is played so you get the regular draw effect.

Each of these sets only requires two pieces to activate their set effects, which provide simple stat boosts. The Black Wing set increases Selena’s Attack by 12%, the Executioner set boosts her Critical Damage by 25%, and Tetra’s Authority raises her Defense by an additional 12%.

For both main stats and substats, aim for Passion Damage, Critical Chance, Critical Damage, and Extra Damage. Critical Chance is much preferred over Damage at the start, especially with the Executioner's Set immediately giving us Damage, and we'll want more crit chances to trigger critical strikes in the first place.

The best equipment for Veronica can only be found in Laboratory 0. Fragment of the Empty Void helps you start with a better hand and Superconductive Protein discounts a card down to 0 AP and can help you play more cards all on turn 1.

W-52 Dopamine Ejector is the best weapon for Veronica over Second Method because she constantly has access to draw 2 cards so it should always be active every turn and the buff it provides is multiplicative compared to Second Method which only has a buff that is additive.

If you aren't able to get the best, you can settle for these equipment that can only be found in Laboratory 0 too. Second Method gives a +30% damage to her ballistas and it is active all the time. Brainwave-Blocking Helmet gives a shield for each card drawn and Amorphous Cube gives a permanent +25% damage to all her cards.

Veronica's strongest card, Repose, makes her fit in any team that lacks any card draw. If you have the 0-cost epiphany of Repose, it is a free card that draws 2 card from other combatants. Do note though that she can't draw her own cards so a few draw cards from other party members can fix this issue.

Veronica consists of 3 out of 5 cards with a unique tag with Pendant of Resolution hidden behind an epiphany. This makes her a perfect candidate for creating a tailored save data for a single character as it will not take a spot during the copy event after killing a floor boss, increasing your chance to get the card you want to duplicate without needing to remove a lot of cards.

I’m surprised the Selena isn’t recommended anywhere as a potential teammate. She applies Passion weakness, Mark for extra damage, and has lots of skill cards to fuel Veronica’s reload. These two together decimate the battlefield. They’ve breezed through a lot of tough battles together that the other 5* struggled with.
