Two new 4-set Memory Fragment sets that players can use in a new stage called Flames and the Orb after the release of Phase 2 of Forbidden Catalyst in the December 3, 2025 Patch.

Conqueror's Aspect boosts the critical damage of attack cards that costs 1 AP when played. When a card changes AP cost to 0 or higher than 2 then the effect will not work. On December 3, 2025 Patch, this works on Renoa's Dirge Bullets when discarded making her a viable character for this set.
This set is best used with characters that use a lot of 1 AP cost cards such as Rin, Renoa or Lucas.

Healer's Journey Set Information

Healer's Journey is best used for all characters, especially for controllers who don't have many options available to them. The set increases the Max HP of the character which can increase the total max HP of your party.
This set is best used with characters that needs more HP such as Cassius as he wants it for his last potential node requirements.

Line of Justice set is best used for characters that consists of cards that costs 2 or more. When a 2 cost card gets discounted to 1 or lower, the effects of the set will not apply to it.
This set is best used with characters such as Khalipe as she constantly uses 2-cost cards even if it was activated by the Celestial tag.

Tetra's Authority set is generally used by characters that benefit from getting more defense stat. It is also valuable to characters that heal because the amount of HP restored is based on how much defense the character has.
This set is best used with characters that heal or scales based off defense such as Khalipe, Magna or Mika.

Bullet of Order set is mainly used by Order characters that has a lot of attack cards. Make sure to play attack cards with low multipliers first before before using high multiplier attack cards. Do note that this doesn't apply to extra attacks such as Hugo's follow up attacks.
This set is best used with characters that has a lot of attack cards access such as Luke or Yuki.

Cursed Corpse set can be used if your team has access to Agony either by having Tressa in your party or getting epiphanies that inflict Agony to enemies.
This set is best used with characters that inflicts Agony constantly such as Tressa or Kayron.

Offering of the Void is perfectly suited for void characters that has access to card exhaust every turn. Do note that the damage increase only applies to void cards so if a character has access to exhaust but not a void character then it will not work.
This set is best used only with void characters that exhausts cards such as Tressa and Kayron. Despite Renoa being a void character and has access to the exhaust tag in her Dirge Bullets, she is not suitable for this set.

Black Wing set is the most versatile memory fragment in the game as it provides you with more attack stat. It can fit in any character even defense scaling attacks because it also factors in 30% of their attack. This is especially useful if you are running the 3 pairs of 2-set memory fragment setup and are running out of options.
This set is best used by any class except for Vanguard or Controller characters.

Instinctual Growth set is best used for characters that always has more than 4 cards in hand every turn so that the effect is activate for all instinct cards only.
This set is best used by instinct characters that can retain cards in every turn such as Khalipe or Orlea with a Main DPS build.

Seth's Scarab set is best suited for characters that utilize their basic cards more rather than their unique cards. This is also a great set if you want more damage, healing or shield from your basic cards especially in the start of every chaos runs for a smoother early game.
This set is best used by characters such as Mei Lin, Nia and Chizuru especially if their build revolves around using their basic cards.

Spark of Passion set is used by characters that has access to a lot of upgrade cards and following up with heavy hitting attack cards. The effect of this set can carry over future turns. Using another upgrade card will not stack but instead reset its use to 5.
Due to the limitations of the effect and how upgrade cards are rare in most characters, no characters can fully utilize the potential of this memory fragment and are better off using other sets.

Executioner's Tool set can fit in any character as long as they equip a critical chance main stat in their ideal memory fragment slot. This set boosts their critical damage if you have 2 pieces of it as your memory fragment. This applies to attack cards, extra attacks and counterattacks make it a preferred choice alongside other 2-set memory fragments.
This set is best used by any class except Controller characters that does not specialize with attack cards.

Orb of Inhibition set boosts the damage of void cards after using an attack card that hits more than once. This set requires two attack cards with 2 or more multi-hit attacks to fully get the buff.
We are still trying to find the best character that can fit this set and test out how it fully functions.

Judgment's Flames set increases the damage of only instinct cards to ravaged targets by 50%. This set provides the highest damage buff but only to enemies with depleted tenacity bar.
We are still trying to find the best character that can fit this set and test out how it fully functions.

These are the probability for the main stat of a Memory Fragment once you get it. There are three equipment slots with fixed Main Stat, meaning they will always be the stat each time you get the specific Memory Fragment in the game.

These are the rates of the Sub Stats appearing when you upgrade a Memory Fragment. All of the sub-stats can roll in any set or slot of memory fragments.
How to Craft Memory Fragments
Inside a Character's Memory Fragments or Storage
You can access crafting by going to any character's memory fragment page where the button to navigate to crafting is located on the bottom left of the screen or inside the storage.
Use Traces of Memory to Craft Memory Fragments

When crafting a memory fragment, it costs Traces of Memory to make one. Cost increaes based on how much you want to control the randomization of how you're memory fragment will turn out with the best one where you can choose what part it is and specify what main stat it will contain at the cost of 1 Multidimensional Alignment Material.
However, you cannot choose what substat a memory fragment will get after crafting and will always be randomized.
What Are Memory Fragments?
Equipment Set with Bonus Effects
Memory Fragments are equipment sets exclusive to combatants that provide various stat bonuses when equipped. Each set contains 6 types of Memory Fragment pieces and equipping a combination of the set can activate Set Effects based on the required number of pieces. Since you have 6 slots in total, you can also mix pieces from different sets to gain multiple bonus effects.
Upgrading Memory Fragments
Each Memory Fragment piece can be upgraded to further enhance its stat bonuses. Upgrading a piece may roll a new stat, randomly selected from a pool of possible stats. These Memory Fragments have both a main stat and substats. the main stat gains the largest boost from upgrades, while the substats are randomly determined from the available pool.

Legendary Memory Fragments, which you’ll start obtaining at Difficulty 5 and above, already have three substats unlocked. You can upgrade them up to level 5. The first upgrade unlocks the fourth substat, and each subsequent upgrade increases the value of one of the existing substats. Do note that each upgrade, regardless of rarity, also increases the value of the Memory Fragment’s main stat.
Rare Memory Fragments start with two substats, and upgrading them twice unlocks the remaining two. However, since they can only be upgraded to level 4, you’ll have only two additional opportunities to increase their substat values. Uncommon Memory Fragments can only be upgraded to level 3 and start with one substat, which means that upgrading them to their max level will unlock all remaining substats without giving you any chance to increase the value of an existing substat.
