Manifest Ego is a special progression feature in Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN) that allows you to enhance a combatant’s abilities through six evolving stages. Learn how Manifest Ego works, how to obtain Combatants and where to get Memory Codes.

Upgrading Combatants with Dupes
Manifest Ego is a character-specific progression system that unlocks new passives, card upgrades, and unique perks for each combatant, using Memory Codes obtained from duplicate characters pulled in the gacha (Rescue).
Each dupe is converted into a Memory Code used to unlock the next stage of their Ego. In short: the more times you rescue a character, the more of their true potential you awaken.
How to Upgrade Combatants with Manifest Ego

 Get Memory Code Pull a duplicate (rescue) of the character and it converts into a Memory Code. You can also buy a very limited number of codes in the shop. |

 Open the Manifest Ego Go to the character’s page, then Manifest Ego. The UI shows the next stage, requirements, and the reward. |

 Select the Upgrade and Click Manifest Ego This will unlock the next stage of the character’s Manifest Ego. Each combatant has six stages of Memories (Sleeping, Awakening, Vivid, Inner, Complete, Liberating) in total, with every stage granting new passives, card enhancements, or other unique perks. |

Obtained from Duplicate Rescues
Memory Codes are obtained by pulling duplicate (Rescue) characters or dupes in the gacha. Each time you rescue a character you already own, the duplicate is automatically converted into a Memory Code for that specific combatant.
These Memory Codes are essential for unlocking Manifest Ego stages, which enhance your character’s passives, cards, and overall performance.

Bought from the Shop
Under the Memory Archive section, you can purchase Memory Codes for certain characters. Each code costs 400 Moments of the Radiant Hero.
Keep in mind that only select characters have Memory Codes available in the shop, and each one usually has a limited purchase count.
