The game's new seasonal story will begin on Verne and the new Burning Life chaos zone. Its a chaos zone that used to teem with life until the Eternal Flame was corrupted and engulfing the planet with flames.

Aside from a new chaos zone, new enemies will also be added to the existing enemy pool. This includes the new colossal type enemies that requires players to defeat multiple body parts to take it down.
| Season Power | Mechanics |
|---|---|
| Arena Equipment | Arena Equipment features a variety of “conditional trigger options” that were not available on existing equipment. In particular, some equipment can grant “Arena Cards” when their effects are triggered, allowing you to temporarily upgrade the power of your hand through these cards. |
| Refinement | A system that grants new abilities to equipment. Includes 20 total options for the refinement pool, after completing an arena battle, 3 choices among the 20 refinement options will be presented to upgrade an existing equipment with the refinement option. |
| God's Hammer | A reward for interior bosses will reward the God's Hammer. The God's hammer lets you potentially strengthen a refined equipment by removing its refinement option and adding a new option from the god's hammer pool. This includes legendary and mythic effects that will further enhance the gear. |
The Zero System upgrades will address the issue of resetting runs due to a bad epiphany and/or duplication option. The additions to the zero system will include the Meditation feature and the ability to select a combatant that will gain the card duplication target options.
The Meditation will be a new feature that you can use from rest points. Its an activity that will cost credits and will cost more the more times you reroll an epiphany using the said feature. It will let you re-select 3 epiphany options from the card you currently have an epiphany for. This targets to reduce the RNG of deck building and let players focus on completing a chaos run while also not removing non-unique cards from their teammates.
Thee season board will let you obtain all of the achievements you have obtained from the game's seasonal content. Collect season medals (that can also be used as stickers).
The main ID card each account have can now be decorated using the stickers you have. It will also be able to use a combatant's special lobby background as your main ID card. These ID cards can be showcased on your friends list and the leaderboard rankings.
The Codex options will get a vast imporvement that will let you experience a wide variety of planets beyond the seasonal chaos. During the January 14 update, the codex got a buff to tier 14 codice appearance to improve the balance.
In the season 2 update, Mythic-grade Codices can now be obtained through merging and/or discovering a new codice after clearing an existing Codex. These Mythic-grade Codice will have heavy penalties but with the ability to increase a chaos zone's tier to 15.
One of the samples provided for the season 2's Mythic-grade option is Divine intervention. This option will provide multiple modifiers which are the following;
・ Encounter a God rather than a Divine Delegate (Grants a Divine Fate and powerful starting choice rewards)
・ Chaos Orb acquisition major increase
・ Crystal of Discord acquisition major increase
・ Special restrictions based on the intervening God added
・ All Monster Stats increase
・ Unable to acquire Save Data
This modifier lets you experience a fresh feel to a codex run without the intent of building a save data. The developers also note that this is a system that's added to let players experience a true roguelike experience with more modes such as the Chaos Assault also coming into the future.
| Memory Fragment | Set Bonus |
|---|---|
| Beast and Aspiration | Upgrades Justice/Order attribute Exhaust Attack Cards. |
| Reign of Glory | Increases allies’ damage when generating or using Exhaust Skill Cards |

Nine will also debut during the first day of Season 1. She's a vanguard Orde combatant that excels at generating shields while also dishing out high defense-based damage. She's been designed to have strong synergy with the previously released character Narja
The release date of the game's season 2 is set for February 4, 2026. The game will undergo its season 2 patch maintenance and after the maintenance time, season 2 and all of its new content will be accessible in-game.
