Cards and Epiphanies

Epiphany Notes
Adjust Resonating Darkness and Dark Condensation to epiphany to 2 and 3 respectively if playing a void DPS. Additionally, Snack Time's best epiphany is a standard epiphany, preferably morale 1 to give additional damage bonuses to the team.

Rei's setup is focused on removing her entire deck to only retain her key card Predator's Blade to be a source of massive amounts of flat bonus damage to your other combatants. You can reduce Predator's Blade if you don't have enough card cycling power.

For the build to truly shine, you'll want to get multiple copies of the refinement that lets you draw this combatant's exhaust card at the start of the battle to immediately exhaust Ebony Lumen to kickstart the fight.

Veronica

Rei is best paired with combatants that can supply the team a much needed card draw. Veronica is the best one that works with Rei as she can get an AP epiphany on Repose which solves Rei's AP negative and exhaust heavy playstyle. A Veronica with AP on Repose also lets Rei spam out her Predator's Blade easily which can strengthen Veronica's Ballista as well as the team's main DPS.

Character	Explanation
Luke	A well built Luke can easily capitalize on the multitude of Morales that Rei can provide. Due to Luke's low multipliers, Rei and her additive damage buffs makes her one of the best supports Luke can consider to add in his team. This however, requires a Luke to be AP Positive by adding cost reduction or AP gain to his own deck.
Mei Lin	Similar to Luke, Mei Lin benefits from the Morale while also being AP neutral with her kit. She only requires Unity of Attack and Defense then a big Rising Dragon Spire which doesn't cost too much Ap to commit.
Yuki	Yuki is a spam-heavy combatant that relies on using multiple cards in a single turn to dish out heavy AoE damage. She gets massive benefit from Morale due to her card spam nature and with the new Freezing Blade epiphany, just makes Rei's value just much more higher as a support in her team.
Rin	Rin is a void DPS which Rei can easily synergize with due to her void-related epiphanies. She however, conflicts with Rin's only-attacker playstyle that wants only her to be the one using cards in battle.

The best way to play Rei is by removing all of her cards from the card pool via Exhaust and Upgrades. Ebony Lumen helps with this setup as it gives Snack Time an exhaust target while also being able to use the exhaust mechanic to push out more card draws during the first turn.

This will leave your deck with only Predator's Blade which is a quick source of Morale and massively benefits the entire team's damage needs, specially when partnered with her Manifest Egos 1 and 6 and her upgrade buffs.

Similar to Rei, Veronica's game plan is to minimize her deck as much as possible to retain only Sir Kowalski and Reposes in the deck. The ideal setup is to have at least 2 Sir Kowalski to draw your own Reposes and 3 Reposes to easily draw your main DPS damage source and Rei's Predator Blades.

The best partner for Rei is Nyx due to her ability to apply damage buffs for the team every time Rei uses Snack Time. Furthermore, her Ego Skill allows you to redraw 3 cards so you can setup your main DPS efficiently.

Rei's best set is the new Glory's Reign set which further buffs the rest of the team on exhaust card use. This can be activated easily with Snack Time and Ebony Lumen to grant a 15% permanent damage buff to the team.

Rei should aim for Health and Defense for her main and substats as she doesn't really need any damage for her cards. This will ensure that your team can survive more attacks from the enemy, increase healing output with defense and can have more breathing room especially for team comps that doesn't have any reliable healer.

Rei's best equipment can only be found in Laboratory 0. Crimson Sword can be found in any chaos inside shops and will inflict 3 Agony per turn after using an attack card. This is great if your DPS has the Cursed Corpse set for more damage, otherwise it is free damage. Fragment of the Empty Void to get a better hand at turn 1. Superconductive Protein for a much easier turn 1 especially if it can discount a card that costs 2 AP or more.

Rei's Dark Condensation adds damage to any selected card in your hand. Since the buff is additive, it is best to use it on cards that contains higher than 2 hit counts so that each additive buff is applied to each hit.

Multiple Copies of Dark Condensation Increases Damage Buff Per Use

If Rei has multiple copies of Dark Condensation in a single turn, she can use all of it on a single card and each copy will add more damage to it for 1 turn or she can spread it out to multiple cards.

For example, Dark Condensation at its base form adds +100% damage amount for 1 turn. If you use 3 copies of it in one attack card, it will add a total of +300% damage amount to it.

Use Predator's Blade to Amplify Team Damage

Predator's Blade grants 2 Morale and 4 with some Manifest Ego copies which is a hefty multiplier for multi-hit DPS combatants. Focus on using Predator's Blade first to maximize Rei's buffs before using your main damage cards.
