Aether in Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN) recharges over time, can be claimed at the Coffee Shop, and can be refilled with Crystals, Aether Empty Powder, and Tear of God. Learn how to refill Stamina and discover what Stamina is used for in this guide.

| Recovery Time | 1 Aether for 6 Minutes 240 Aether for 24 Hours |
|---|
Aether gradually refills on its own over time, even while you're offline, so you’ll return to the game with Stamina restored.

Once a day, you can visit the Ark City's Garden Cafe shop to claim extra Aether. You have two options:
| Instant Aether | +80 points immediately added to your main pool (can overcap, means collecting more Aether than your normal maximum allows.) |
|---|---|
| Packaged Aether | +60 points stored for later use. Ideal if you can’t play much right away. |

You will be given several Aether Empty Powder or Tear of God that will get you 60 Aether each as you progress in the game.
| 1st and 2nd Refill | 50 Crystals |
|---|---|
| 3rd and 4th Refill | 70 Crystals |
| 5th and 6th Refill | 100 Crystals |
| 7th and 8th Refill | 150 Crystals |
You can also replenish 60 Aether with Crystals, the game's premium currency. If you want to rush progress, Crystals let you instantly refill Aether, though the cost increases with each daily refresh, up to 8 times.
You can follow the list above on which you can prioritize when starting out in the game. It should maximize your Aether use to get you to the endgame.

You should prioritize the Promotion Materials for Combatants and Partners at the start since most of your stats will come from them. Once you hit the current limit for your level, you can now farm for other materials in the game that requires Aether.

Challenges or Weekly Bosses drop materials for higher level Potentials for Combatants. You can only challenge them 3 times a week, so make sure to do them before they reset again.
You only need to spend 30 Aether on each run to get the loot. Challenges unlock once your clear Chapter 3.

You can start farming for the Combatant Potential Materials once you hit the Level Cap for your current level and the completed the Challenges. You can aim for the second Large Node and the third Small Node at least while you're still on the Difficulty 4.

You should only farm for Memory Fragments once you hit Captain Level 40 and unlock the Level 5 Difficulty for a chance to get Legendary Memory Fragments. Legendary Memory Fragments are the highest rarity you can get in the game, and they give the best stats.

You can refill your Loot Certification Card with Aether once you use all of them to get the loot at the end of a Chaos run.
Note that you should only refill and claim the loot when the materials at the end are Legendary of if you highly need the materials.
Chaos Manifestation Guide

You will be given tons of Growth Materials as you progress in the game. You should not be able to exhaust them if you only build at least 5-6 characters. Only farm for the Growth Materials once you're about to reach the endgame, as you'll probably ran out before it.

Aether is the game's primary energy resource that you spend on Simulations, to farm materials to upgrade Combatants and Partners.
Aether is connected to progression, so managing it well early on helps unlock endgame content faster.
Simulation Guide
Overcapping lets you temporarily hold more than your max Aether. For example, using the instant +80 coffee when your bar is nearly full. This extra Aether boosts your usable total immediately but won’t persist past the next natural refill, so spend it quickly.
If your Aether stays above the threshold when the next refill occurs, the excess is wasted, so it’s important to use overcapped Aether promptly.
