This is a guide to Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN)'s ingame shop and the best ones to buy in it. Read on to see the best items to buy at the shop as well as the best items to purchase on each shop category.

Memory Archive Shop
The Memory Archive Shop is a non-premium currency shop where you can use Moments to purchase items. Moments are obtained from making Rescues and are a passively built resource as you continuously rescue units and partners in the game.

The best and almost mandatory purchase you need to make per month would be to purchase the 5 Rescue and Signal Amplification Anchors from the shop. With regular pulls, you'll be able to accumulate Moment of the Radiant Travelers, which will result in a regular supply of 5 Rescue Anchors and Signal Amplification Anchors per month.

The Partner Tab lets you purchase a copy of a 5-star partner for the price of 300 Moments of the Radiant Hero. This lets you focus on pulling for Combatants on the main Rescue banner, while using the Moments of the Radiant Hero, you get to pull for the partner you wish to have for your main combatants.

The Combatant Tab will have the least given priority among the Memory Archive Shop. Similar to the Partner Tab, you'll be able to choose a 5-star character you have and use 400 Moment of the Radiant Hero to get a Memory Code of a 5-star character you already have. What this means is you can only use the Combatant Tab to enhance the characters you have with additional Manifest Ego points.
Alternatively, you can consume 10 Moments of the Radiant Hero to get additional Signal Amplification Anchors to pull if you really wish to get the existing rate up character. Purchasing the regular Rescue Anchor is not recommendedas the rates for getting the character you want are much lower and are best pulled on passively with regular rescue anchor rewards and other cheaper alternatives such as the 5 anchors on the Regular Tab, and not get new 5-star characters.

The Regular Supply purchase is the best bang for your buck for all the available shop purchases in the game. For the price of $4.99, you'll be able to get a total of 3000 crystals, which can be converted to 18 pulls with leftovers for its lifetime.
It does require a daily login, but if you're an active player, the Regular Supply package will be the best item to buy for you.

First purchase provides double value.
The next best purchase after the Regular Supply is the first Crystal Purchase for every Crystal item in the shop. Your first purchase will provide double crystals, which makes the first purchase quite valuable for the price compared to other choices.

You'll want to use the Zeronium Shop to purchase a copy of the 4-star character partners. This will let you get the first copy if you haven't gotten them yet, or manifest their ego by an additional point. This will let you get more value from your partners with extra stats just by progressing the Basin of Hyperspace and Dimensional Twilight.
Once you've obtained all four of the 4-star partners you need, you can focus on getting Undetermined Ego Crystal for potential upgrades later and Multidimensional Alignment Material for crafting Memory Fragments.

Added on the December 3, 2025 Patch. Players can earn currencies called Crystal of Discord after a Chaos Manifestation run which also includes Zero System and Galactic Disaster Seasonal Chaos runs.
Rescue Anchor refreshes monthly and costs 3000 Crystal of Discord total so make sure that you complete at least 10 chaos runs per month to have enough currency to purchase it because you can only get 300 Crystal of Discord maximum per run.

Lastly, the main way to spend Crystals is by using the Exchange Shop to convert Crystals into Signal Amplification Anchors. This is your primary method of getting Signal Amplification Anchors for pulling on the current rate up banner.
It is highly recommended to not convert crystals to Rescue Anchors as you won't be able to target which 5-star character you'll get from this banner, and it is better to always spend it on rate-up banners to get more copies of the existing character or save it for future banners.
You can also convert Prism Films to get Prism Modules Nominate and Masterpiece to select which character you'll want to get an animated card for.
Protos Supply
It is generally not recommended to purchase items from the Protos Supply tab. They provide less value than other purchasable items from the shop. Materials such as Units, Battle Memories, and Support Certificates will be low as you start the game, but will generally begin to have less value the more you play the game and continue doing daily content from Simulation.
