Rest areas are designated safe zones that you can visit during Chaos Runs. Once there, you can perform two actions: Train or Rest. The number of actions you can perform depends on how many Safe Zone Interaction points you have available.

You can train in Rest Areas by paying Credits to receive the option of choosing a random neutral card, which can significantly help with your Chaos Runs. You can include neutral cards in your save data, allowing you to keep the most beneficial ones.
This incentivizes multiple runs to get a card combination that synergizes well with your chosen build.

Some neutral cards have class restrictions that prevent them from being used by other classes. Consider this when forming a team for the Chaos Run to avoid wasting interaction points, as you can end up in a situation where you are unable to use the neutral cards from any of the choices provided during training.

Using an interaction point to rest allows your combatants to recover by simultaneously restoring their health and reducing their stress. Managing stress levels is essential to Chaos Runs because it prevents your characters from sufferring a Mental Breakdown.

Dellang can also be found in some rest areas. Her presence is indicated by an additional shop icon on top of the standard rest area icon.
You can use credits to buy cards and equipment from Dellang. She also has the option to remove a card from your deck for 80 Credits, which is especially useful for deck building. If you have credits to spend, be sure to pay her a visit!
Training can provide your characters with strong neutral cards that can significantly help you with your Chaos runs. Thus, it is recommended to prioritize training whenever you get the chance.
However, make sure your team has enough HP for the rest of your run. Resting should not be neglected unless you're trying to purposefully push your characters to the Mental Breakdown state for a specific reason, such as having them committed to the Epione Center for Psycotherapy treatment.

Use the map to plan your route, determine when to train or rest, and decide how many times you need to stop at the rest area. Rest areas are identified by a campfire icon in the lower left corner of the map during Chaos Runs.

Hi! It’s best to choose training, especially if the Combatant you’re building can benefit from them. For example, giving your team’s support Neutral cards that provide Draw increases your chances of getting the cards you need in fewer turns. We hope this helps!
