Remove Combatant Trauma by Talking to Them
A combatant must be under mental breakdown and you have a communication pass for you to start a counseling. You will be presented with two choices for two rounds where each has their own value that will determine the condition of the combatant at the end.
Earn Affinity Based on Your Choices
You will earn affinity based on how well you did during the counseling. Affinity rewards is based on three condition you see at the end of the counseling:

Affinity Guide: How to Increase Friendship Bond
No Affinity Gain on Mental Image Leakage
After the January 14th Update, a new condition has been added where if you chose all the wrong options, the combatant will undergo Mental Image Leakage resulting to no affinity again but will still remove the mental breakdown of that combatant.
Counseling Rewards
480 Crystals for Completing the Counseling Log of a Combatant
Completing the counseling log of a combatant will give you 480 Crystals in total. 150 Crystals for completing the log, 150 Crystals total first time reward for each of the three paths and 180 Crystals for discovering all 36 answers.
