Give Passive Effects for the Whole Fight
Upgrade are passive or buff cards that permanently improve a Combatant (or your team) for the remainder of that fight.
They don't act like normal Attack or Skill cards you play once and toss; they create persistent effects, generate other cards, or change how a character's kit behaves for the encounter.
